All SNS accounts of K-pop artists belonging to Woollim Entertainment suddenly had the same mysterious profile image and header, causing fans to think that they were all hacked. But, speculations have it that this has something to do with DRIPPIN.

On Jan. 6 at midnight KST, mysterious images took over the profile photos and covers of the Twitter and Facebook accounts of Woollim artists such as INFINITE, Lee Sujeong, Golden Child, Rocket Punch, DRIPPIN, and Kwon Eunbi.

The icons on their YouTube channels and Universe and V Live accounts also have the same pictures. Even the ones on Woollim Entertainment's own SNS accounts were changed.

The headers of Woollim artists' SNS accounts were initially decorated with each artist's album jacket. Now, it shows a picture full of green numbers.

As for the profiles, which were previously filled with each artist's logo, they are now occupied by an image showing a male silhouette.

As they all changed at the same time, it resulted in global fans of Woollim artists thinking that the SNS accounts and other platforms belonging to them were all hacked. But, some believe that this has a deep connection with DRIPPIN's comeback and that this is only Woollim Entertainment's promotional stunt.

Previously, it was announced that DRIPPIN will make their comeback this January with a new mini-album, titled "Villain."

In the past few weeks, Woollim Entertainment has been releasing teaser videos featuring one DRIPPIN member being an outlaw. First, Changuk committed a robbery to steal money, then, Alex was the target of the military.

Dongyun's teaser video was supposed to be released today, Jan. 6, at midnight KST but the agency changed all profile images and headers of Woollim artists' SNS accounts instead, seeming like they all got hacked.

In DRIPPIN's comeback teaser video, the phrase "YOU ARE HACKED!!!" can be seen toward the end of the clip, which could really mean that "hacking" is one of the ways to get everyone's attention.

DRIPPIN's comeback with "Villain" is set for release on Jan. 17. In the meantime, watch the individual prologue film for Alex here!

DRIPPIN's Last Comeback ahead of 'Villain'

Prior to the release of their new mini-album "Villain," DRIPPIN's latest comeback was in June 2021 when they dropped their first single album "Free Pass." The album consists of the title track of the same name and two B-side songs.

DRIPPIN's "Free Pass" is an energetic synth-pop song containing lyrics about the feeling of wanting to do everything for someone you like. On June 29 at 7 p.m. KST, the day of its release, the song attained a perfect all-kill, taking first place on all Korean music charts including MelOn 24Hits, Genie and Bugs.
