Kep1er Beats IVE and STAYC on the Hanteo Chart
On January 10, Hanteo Chart announced that Kep1er's debut album, "First Impact," which was released last January 3, sold over 200,000 copies in the first week of its release. Because of this, Kep1er ranked first in the Initial Chodong Sales for all-time girl group albums.
This surpasses the debut album records of the girl group "IVE," which debuted on December 1, 2021, and "STAYC," which debuted in November 2020.
Aside from that, "First Impact" recorded the highest Initial Chodong sales among other rookie groups that debuted from 2020 to 2022.

The album's title track, "WA DA DA," entered the charts of countries such as the US, Japan, UK, Australia, Germany, Indonesia, and Thailand. As of January 12, the "WA DA DA" MV has surpassed 32 million YouTube views.
Kep1er is a nine-member multinational girl group that debuted after being selected in Mnet's survival audition program "Girls Planet 999: Girls' War" in October 2021.

YouTube views are also showing a trend in proportion to global interest. The "WA DA DA" music video surpassed 30 million views in less than six days after its release.
Kep1er, who showed a hot presence by receiving intensive attention from foreign media at the same time as its debut, is raising the status of the K-Pop rookie girl group by continuing its popularity and ripple effect in K-pop's global market.
