Kep1er Yujin continues to draw attention from K-pop enthusiasts and internet users not only for her skills but visuals! On various online communities, the female idol became a hot topic for her small face, one of the features in the Korean beauty standard.
On the 12th, Yujin made her name a trend in the Korean online community, Daum, after a netter brought back her Instagram story in 2020 wearing a face mask amid the coronavirus pandemic. The post titled, "An idol who bought a children-sized mask because her fans were worried."

In particular, prior to the pandemic, masks is often used by K-pop idols as part of their fashion outfit, especially during airport photoshoots or photo ops on their way to music shows.
But when the pandemic struck, it became essential in any part of the world, and there's no exception even idols. Among K-pop idols; however, Yujin captured the attention of fans for her way of wearing masks.
Yujin, who debuted as CLC in 2015 were active until 2020 before their hiatus and promoted in September of the same year with their hit single, "Helicopter." At that time, there was already a pandemic, and CLC often goes to their schedules wearing masks to protect themselves.
But, it was not long before Yujin drew concerns for wearing an adult-sized mask. While this is the size commonly used by idols, that kind of mask was too big for the 24-year-old idol at that time!
Due to this, Cheshire (CLC fandom) suggested Yujin wear smaller-sized face masks due to concerns about her health. In 2020 then, Yujin reassured fans with her Instagram story with a photo of her using a mask commonly used by children.
"I bought a mask for children because Cheshire (CLC fans) were worried about me."
In response, internet users who saw Yujin's post that resurfaced on the online site expressed their awe.
"Wow, her face is really small," "She's a real baby," "Fans are right in worrying about you. Always wear a mask that fits you," and "It's so cool, her face is so small." Other web commenters also praised her beauty, saying, "Yujin's beauty is on a different scale," "She's so pretty and so cute," and "Wow, her visuals."
Currently, the post amassed about 70,000 views, proving K-Netz's increasing interest in the idol.
From CLC to Kep1er: Yujin Current Status After She Re-Debuted
On the other hand, Choi Yujin made her debut as a girl group CLC in 2015. She initially enjoyed domestic success and international recognition; but in 2021, Yujin announced the group's discord with Cube Entertainment and their unofficial disbandment (hereinafter indefinite hiatus).
In June 2021, Yujin joined Mnet's "Girls Planet 999" and finished the show in 3ed place, making it to the final top 9.
On Jan. 3, 2022, she re-debut as the leader of Kep1er and immediately enjoyed massive success through their first mini-album, "FIRST IMPACT" and its lead track, "WA DA DA."
