Former 'Girls Planet 999' Contestant Ito Miyu to Debut in New Girl Group under Label Home to Kep1er Yeseo and Mashiro
On Jan. 14, 143 Entertainment - the management company of Kep1er Mashiro and Yeseo - announced that Ito Miyu, who previously participated in Mnet's survival show "Girls Planet 999," will debut as a member of its first girl group.
143 Entertainment also shared that the former "Girls Planet 999" contestant signed an exclusive contract with the label after the show ended, and she will come back to Korea on Jan. 16 to start her debut preparation.

At present, the agency is also home to a trainee named Gaeun, which the company unveiled in August of last year on Instagram. Attention is also focused on whether she will debut in the new girl group.
In addition to this, interest in the future activities of Ito Miyu and Kep1er Yeseo and Mashiro together is rising. After the two-and-a-half-year contract of Kep1er, Kang Yeseo and Sakamoto Mashiro will return to 143 Entertainment, so they are expected to work together, perhaps in the same group.

About Ito Miyu and Her Time in Mnet's 'Girls Planet 999'
Ito Miyu, a Japanese trainee under 143 Entertainment, was initially an independent trainee, meaning she is not affiliated with any entertainment agency. Also, she was previously a tarento (TV personality in Japan) under N.D. Promotion.
Miyu was also active as a model and an influencer across YouTube, however, she deactivated all her social media accounts during the spring season in 2021 and her name was no longer listed under N.D. Promotion's list of talents, implying she had departed from the label.

She also took part in the Tokyo Girls Audition in 2018, where she won the Popteen Award, the PLUS Award, and the ABEMA TV Award. She has appeared in several music videos for Japanese artists as well.
In July, Ito Miyu was confirmed as a contestant in Mnet's latest girl group survival show "Girls Planet 999." During the signal song evaluation, she was ranked 31st in the J-Group.
For the planet demo stage, the performance where contestants showcased their skills in dancing and singing, Ito Miyu performed 1000%'s "Summer Wish" along with Okazaki Momoko and Terasaki Hina.

Moreover, Miyu's original cell was with Choi Ye Young and Wen Zhe, but she later former her first official cell with Suh Ji Min and Wang Qui Ru, called "Nine-Tailed Fox."
In "Girls Planet 999," Ito Miyu only made it until episode 5 after the first mission (Connect Mission). During the first mission, she was a part of Team 2 that performed IZ*ONE's "FIESTA."
Miyu's individual ranking after the Connect Mission was No. 12, but her cell's ranking was No. 28, which led her to be eliminated during the first round of elimination.
