On January 15 KST, the Korean Business Research Institute unveiled the brand reputation rankings for individual boy group members for the first month of the year. From 2PM Junho to BTS Jimin, keep on reading to know the full list of the most popular boy group members for January 2022!
The brand reputation rankings are based on the total reputation index of each artist, through the analysis of each of their consumer participation, media coverage, communication and community awareness indexes from the big data collected of 703 boy groups from December 15 to January 15.
The big data gathered for January 2022 is 113,481,843, which is a decrease of seven percent from the big data of 122,110,011 in December 2021.
2PM Junho is the No. 1 Most Popular Boy Group Member in January 2022
Taking the No. 1 spot and the first idol to top the list in the brand reputation rankings for individual boy group members for the new year is none other than 2PM member, Junho!
According to the Korean Business Research Institute, Junho had accumulated a total reputation index of 7,425,507 for the month of January, with a consumer participation of 2,240,591, a media coverage of 1,117,544, a communication index of 2,287,534, and a community index of 1,779,838.

Compared to Junho's brand reputation index back in December with 5,339,397, the 2PM member's index for January saw an increase of 39.07 percent this month.
Junho's highest-ranking related terms are "award," "thankful," and "consistent," while his highest-ranking phrases for keyword analysis are "The Red Sleeve," "My House," and "Music Festival."
In terms of Junho's positive-negative ratio analysis, his positive ratio was analyzed to be 80.29 percent
BTS Jimin and Kang Daniel are in Top 3 Most Popular Boy Group Members in January
Maintaining his spot at No. 2 for the second month in a row is BTS member Jimin, who had previously ranked No. 1 for 35 consecutive months.
For the month of January, Jimin has a total brand reputation index of 7,170,347, with a consumer participation of 999,053, a media coverage of 1,943,168, a communication index of 2,543,706, and a community index of 2,684,420.
Compared to his brand reputation index of 8,179,443 back in December, Jimin's index for this month saw a decrease of 12.34 percent.
Landing at No. 3 is former Wanna One member Kang Daniel, whose total brand reputation index for this month is 5,357,592, having a consumer participation of 1,900,331, a media coverage of 829,344, a communication index of 1,154,412, and a community index of 1,473,505.
Kang Daniel was included in this month's brand reputation index for individual boy group members following Wanna One's reunion back in December.
