KARD, one of the co-ed K-pop groups, is known for their powerful vocals and their jazzy vibe in their early songs. The band's last group release was in 2020. So with that, let's take a look at what the members have been up to since then.
About Co-Ed K-pop Group KARD
KARD consists of four members - two male artists and two female artists - namely BM, J.Seph, Somin and Jiwoo. Formed by DSP Media, the co-ed group debuted in July 2017 with their first EP "Hola Hola."
The quartet made their first comeback in November of the same year with their second EP "You & Me." They then had their first solo concert in South Korea in August 2018 titled "Wild KARD in Seoul."

Over the years, KARD has been holding concerts around the world including cities in Europe and the United States. Their latest comeback is in August 2020 when they dropped their first single album "Way with Words." Band member BM wrote, composed, and arranged the title song "Gunshot," with his bandmates participating in the creation of the album as well.
Where is KARD Now? Here's What the Members Have Been Doing
KARD J.Seph
On Oct. 5, 2020, two months after KARD's comeback, band member J.Seph enlisted in the military as an active-duty soldier. On the same day, the co-ed group shared a photo of the members sending off J.Seph for his military service.
KARD J.Seph is expected to be discharged from the military in April 2022. But, he might be released earlier than scheduled without going back to the military base as a part of the Korean military's efforts to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

KARD BM
After KARD released their first single album "Way With Words," band member was busy with his solo activities. He made his solo debut in June with his first digital single "Broken Me."
KARD BM then made his first solo comeback in July with his single album "The First Statement." On Jan. 21, he will again return to the K-pop scene with a new digital single titled "Lost in Euphoria."
KARD Somin
KARD Somin is known to be a previous member of two girl groups, KARA and APRIL. In 2020, she released "Beautiful" as a bonus track for the "Goodnight Songs for Rebel Girls" album.
This album is a collaboration between Decca Records and Rebel Girls, a massively successful book series written to give inspiration to girls across the globe with stories and colorful illustrations of the most inspiring women throughout history. The album contains a total of 18 songs by some of the most renowned female artists in the music industry.

KARD Jiwoo
Jiwoo, the maknae and main dancer of KARD, had the shortest training among the members. She only had a two-month training period before debuting.
In 2020, KARD member Jiwoo was cast in Mnet's reality survival show "Good Girl," which aired from May to July. The program features underground female idols and rappers, which competed with each other in groups to win a cash prize. Throughout the survival show, KARD Jiwoo released several songs such as "Witch," "GG" and "Wet."
At present, Jiwoo is currently one of the K-pop idols competing in the WATCHA-original music competition program "Double Trouble." So far, Jiwoo (alongside Jang Hyunseung) has covered PENTAGON's "Dr. BeBe" and Rain's "Rainism."
