BTS "7FATES: CHAKHO" Webtoon Gains Remarkable Number of Views in Just 2 Days and Receives Low and High Ratings
On Jan. 18, HYBE reveals the cumulative number of views that BTS' "7FATES: CHAKHO" webtoon and web novel gained on Naver's Webtoon platform. It exceeded 15 million views as of Jan. 17.
"7FATES: CHAKHO" was officially released on Jan. 15, which means the millions of views were only accumulated in only two days.

An official from HYBE shared that the initial index performance of BTS' webtoon and web novel is the highest among the other launched works (TXT's "THE STAR SEEKERS" and ENHYPEN's "DARK MOON: THE BLOOD ALTAR"). They added that it is the first in the industry to be simultaneously launched in 10 different languages.
BTS' "7Fates: CHAKO" is based on the idea of 'chakhogapsa," which is known as a tiger hunting unit during the Joseon Dynasty. It was reinterpreted into a webtoon and web novel, in which the seven BTS members transform into hunters.
As the webtoon is a collaboration project with global boy group BTS, it is attracting attention from fans around the world.

Since its release on Jan. 15, "7FATES: CHAKHO" has been published in Naver Webtoon in English, Japanese, Spanish, French, German and Thai. According to HYBE, the webtoon set a new record for the number of daily active users on the platform.
On Naver Webtoon's English service platform, BTS' webtoon ranked first on the real-time 'New Topics' chart and all-genre charts. It was counted that about 740,000 more subscribers joined until the previous day following the release of the collaboration story.

Concerning the ratings that are given to BTS' "7FATES: CHAKHO" webtoon, it received both low and high scores. When it comes to high ratings, it got a score of 9.9 out of 10 for the English version and 9.96 for the Spanish version. The French and Thai versions received 9.81 and 9.94 ratings respectively.
On the contrary, the rating for the Korean version of BTS' webtoon was only 7, this is the lowest rating of the story to date.
Meanwhile, ENHYPEN's "DARK MOON" THE BLOOD ALTAR" and TXT's "THE STAR SEEKERS" also drew attention upon its release. The episodes, featuring these two and BTS' webtoon, are currently dominating the Top 3 of the New&Trending chart on Naver Webtoon.
BTS to Release "7FATES: CHAKHO" Soundtrack
In related news, BTS is set to release the original soundtrack for their webtoon and web novel.
On Jan. 17, the septet announced that they will drop the "7FATES: CHAKHO" soundtrack in February, titled "STAY ALIVE." According to the image revealed upon the announcement, the theme song will feature vocals by BTS Jungkook and was produced by BTS Suga.
Prior to the official release, Suga shared a screenshot of the final mix of the soundtrack via his personal Instagram account.
The "7FATES: CHAKHO" soundtrack "STAY ALIVE" is set to drop on Webtoon on Feb. 5 at 11 a.m. KST and its official release on music platforms will be on Feb. 11 at 2 p.m. KST.
