Kep1er Enters Spotify and Billboard's Chart Just Two Weeks After Their Debut
Proving they are worthy to be termed "monster rookie," Kep1er's "Wa Da Da" from their debut album "First Impact" entered into Spotify's Global Top 200 chart on January 17, landing on the 195th spot. "Wa Da Da" also made it to Billboard's World Digital Songs Sales chart, Billboard Global Excluding US chart, and Hot Trending Songs on January 18.
Further, Kep1er's EP set the record for having the highest-selling album of a newly debuted girl group with over 200,000 copies sold in the first week of the album's release.

In addition, Kep1er took home two wins from Korean shows after their performance of "Wa Da Da" on Mnet's "M Countdown" and KBS' "Music Bank."
Kep1er is a girl group composed of the finalists of Mnet's survival show "Girls Planet 999," which aired from August to October of 2021. They made their official debut last January 3 with "First Impact."
The girl group grabbed the top award on a Korean music show, "M Countdown," last January 13, only after 11 days of debut. They bagged their first award with their debut track, "Wa Da Da."
Kep1er's 'First Impact' Sells Over 200,000 Copies During the First Week of Debut, Makes Record on Hanteo Chart
According to the chart, the album sold over 200,000 copies in the first week of its release. It is so far the highest record for a K-Pop girl group's debut album. it also ranked first on iTunes album charts in 11 countries including India, Japan, and Thailand.
After that, The girl group took first place on KBS 2TV's "Music Bank," which was broadcast on January 14.
The music video of the title song "WA DA DA," exceeded 30 million views in less than six days since its release. The girl group continues to rise. As of January 19, the music video is nearing 40 million views.
That same day, Oricon Japan announced that Kep1er's debut mini-album took second place in Album Ranking and Oricon Weekly Digital Album Ranking charts.
Kep1er Sets Record on K-Pop Radar
Kep1er made a record on K-Pop Radar by climbing to the top of the platform's weekly music video chart. Aside from that, the girl group has been named Blip's "New Artist" on January 13. This feat has been achieved by the girl group in just two weeks after their debut.
In just 16 days since debut, Kep1er is currently building a strong fandom that is proven by 1.6 million followers on Instagram, 1.3 million YouTube subscribers, and 2 million TikTok followers.
