EXO Chen has officially become a father of two kids after his wife gave birth to their second child.
EXO Chen and Non-Celebrity Wife Welcome Their Second Child into the World
On Jan. 19, the Korean media outlet Xportnews reported that Chen's wife recently gave birth to their second child.
Back in November of last year, Newsen reported that EXO Chen and his wife are expecting their second child. SM Entertainment confirmed this news not long after it came out.
In response to Xportnews' report, SM Entertainment said it is true that the couple has recently welcomed their second child but they did not specify the gender of the baby.

EXO member Chen tied the knot with his non-celebrity girlfriend in January 2020, and the couple welcomed their first child, a daughter, in April of the same year.
Currently, Chen is completing his mandatory military service since October 2020. He is expected to be discharged from the army during the spring season this year.

EXO Chen's Musical Activities before His Military Enlistment
In 2020, EXO member Chen released several songs ahead of his enlistment to the military. He kicked off his solo activities by releasing a collab track titled "You" with Dynamic Duo in January.
This is the second time that the two artists teamed up for a track. Chen and Dynamic Duo previously dropped the collab song "Nosedive" in 2017.
"You" shows the changes in emotions that every individual goes through, from denial to self-blame, after breaking up with their partner. It also talks about not being able to do things on one's own and yearning for the person who used to be part of their life.

In September, EXO Chen dropped the original soundtrack "Your Moonlight" for the Korean drama "Do You Like Brahms?" starring Kim Min Jae and Park Eun Bin. The song contains the idol's emotional vocals that are accompanied by a piano and an orchestra.
Chen's last music release before he enlisted for his mandatory military service is the digital single "Hello." This Britpop track consists of lyrics written by Hwang Yoo Bin and was composed and arranged by Kim Jae Hwi.
"Hello" entered a few real-time music charts in South Korea after its release. It debuted at No. 12 on Bugs, No. 21 on Genie, No. 70 on Soribada and No. 75 on MelOn.

EXO Chen's "Hello" made it to iTunes Song charts as well. It successfully charted in 40 countries and ranked No. 1 in 10 countries as of Oct. 16 at approximately 9:20 p.m. KST, one day after its release.
Moreover, the digital single debuted at No. 11 on the Worldwide iTunes Song Chart and No. 23 on the European iTunes Song Chart.
Meanwhile, Chen's "Hello" MV accumulated over 3.5 million views and 962,000 likes on YouTube in the first 24 hours. It becomes Chen's most-viewed solo MV in 24 hours. Additionally, the video was trending at No. 1 worldwide at the time.
