GOT the Beat Set To Appear on Mnet's 'M Countdown'
GOT the Beat will appear on Mnet's "M Countdown," which will be aired at 6 PM on January 27, and will unveil the stage performance of "Step Back."

SM Entertainment's Project Unit's song "Step Back" was released last January 3 at 6 PM on various music sites such as Flo, Melon, Genie, iTunes, Apple Music, Spotify, QQ Music, Kugou Music, and Kuwo Music. The song is now available for download and streaming.

GOT the Beat is the first unit of "Girls On Top (GOT)," a project where female artists from SM unveil new combinations of units for each K-Pop girl group. GOT the Beat is the first unit and includes BoA, Girls' Generation's Taeyeon and Hyoyeon, Red Velvet's Seulgi and Wendy, and aespa's Karina and Winter.
The seven members' unique vocals and excellent singing and dancing skills enhanced the level of perfection of the performance.

BoA Explains The Lack of Her Screen Time in the 'Step Back' Practice Video
Singer and actress BoA explained about the lack of her screen time in the practice video for GOT the Beat's "Step Back." She explained that it was because she was unable to participate in the last practice due to a family event.
On January 6, BoA posted a story on her personal Instagram account saying "I'm also watching the video for the first time. During the last practice, I couldn't participate because of a family event. So I don't think there's much."
She continued, "Everyone, please don't make strange guesses and just enjoy the jacon (self-produced content). I was at an event anyway." Then he said, "Please look forward to the next 'GOT'."
