Here are the 7 Current Members of 'Trainee A', Pre-Debut Group Set to Launch Under Big Hit Music in 2022

Trainee A, currently comprised of seven members, is a pre-debut group presumed to debut under Big Hit Music in 2022. In 2021, the members were one by one introduced to the public, amassing interest from music fans.

Here are the 7 Current Members of Trainee A and What We Know About Them:

1. Leo

Introduced as Leo, the 02-line soon-to-debut idol is reportedly born in Australia and moved to South Korea when he was 17 in the hope of becoming an idol.

In 2019, he started training under the agency and was able to appear in BTS "Permission to Dance" MV, released in 2021.

Although his position is not yet determined, Leo drew attention for his skills in writing lyrics and producing music.

2. Sangwon

Lee Sangwon was born in 2003 in South Korea. He's a well-known trainee among K-pop enthusiasts as he has been training since 2016.

Many believe that he could be the main dancer as he's known for choreographing dances. His special skills include speaking English.

3. James

James, a combination of Thai and Chinese nationalities, came from Hong Kong before he moved to Korea to become an idol trainee.

Before he decided to debut as a K-pop idol, the 05-liner was reportedly a Taekwondo athlete and ice hockey player.

4. Jihoon

Han Ji Hoon, one of the 06-line trainees of Team A, is currently the maknae of the pre-debut group, as confirmed by JJ. He started training in 2020 and is known for being a good dancer.

In fact, Jihoon won second place in a dance cover competition where he danced to WINNER's "REALLY REALLY."

5. JJ

JJ is also a 06-line trainee who came from Japan. He was one of the first members to be introduced on Aug. 22, last year.

JJ is a Japanese-American who is a former Japanese idol and member of the group Amezari Red Star. He specialized in dancing, but he can also play the guitar.

6. Woochan

Jo Woochan, a 05-line trainee, was revealed to the public on Jan. 8. Before joining Trainee A, he initially debuted as a solo artist in 2019 and is also a former Cube Entertainment trainee.

His face may be familiar to some as he first made an appearance as a "Show Me the Money" semi-finalist in 2017.

7. Yorch

Yorch is a 02-line Thai member who was the last member to be introduced on Jan. 19, as of now.

Born as Yongsin Wongpanitnon, he made his initial debut in the entertainment scene as an actor in Thailand. At the young age of 10, he appeared in the drama "My Beloved Mother-in-law," where he played the role of young Rob, the male lead.
