In an interview, Kai, the main dancer of Korea's leading idol group EXO revealed what is "happiness" to him and what influences calm mood and life.
On January 21, EXO member and solo artist Kai who completed his second solo album activity released in November last year marked the February issue of men's magazine Esquire along with the luxury brand, Gucci.
What is 'Happiness' for EXO Kai?: "Happiness Will Continue to Change"

To commemorate the successful release of his second mini-album, "Peaches" in November 2021, Kai mainly talked about happiness in the interview.
"In the past, I thought the singer's greatest happiness was singing itself, but now I think the singer's greatest happiness is singing and dancing for them (fans) while standing on stage, looking at the people singing along to my songs," Kai told Esquire.
The "Mmmh" singer also conveyed how his recent online concert held in December filled his heart just by meeting fans amidst the pandemic.
He delved deeper with the definition of "happiness" and added, "You can be happy for a while at the time with the choices you made to be happy, but the choices can make you miserable later. On the contrary, what you thought was a bad experience may remain a memory after time."
Highlighting, "So I think happiness is something that will continue to change."

As the interview went on, EXO Kai also shared with Esquire Korea about how to maintain a calm mood and life without falling into the joy of the moment.
"There is also the influence of my family," Kai then replied.
He narrated that whenever he has concerns, he shares them with his older sister, and she gives him ordinary answers that make them clear to him. "For example, they tell me such a simple advice like 'Just live,' and it sometimes penetrates me."
On the other hand, the February 2022 issue of Esquire, in which Kai decorated the pictorial, will be available at bookstores from January 22, 2021, and will also be available on the Esquire Korea website.
On November 30 last year, EXO Kai transformed into soloist Kai and showed his other side through his second mini-album, "Peaches." The title track with the same name conveyed the lyrics of comparing his feelings for his special someone to the feeling of consuming peaches. In the music video, Kai emphasized how he participated in reformatting the costume to a hanbok that gave a fairytale-like atmosphere.
As soon as it was released, Kai recorded 100,000 copies in just a day and topped 59 countries on the iTunes Top Album chart.
