'B' Becomes GOT7 BamBam's Most-Selling First-Week Album Sales on Hanteo

Last January 24, the final first-week sales count for BamBam's newly released mini-album "B" ended. The mini-album surpassed 50,000 copies of sales on Hanteo, scoring more than 87,000 copies sold,

In particular, on its first day, the album sold nearly 30,000 copies; it is nearly half of the sales of the idol's solo debut album "ribbon," which sold more than 50,000 copies.

With its first-week sales, "B" has broken BamBam's personal record; it becomes his most-selling first-week sales on Hanteo. It exceeded his first mini-album "ribbon," which sold over 83,000 copies during the first week of release.

GOT7 BamBam's 'B' Tops Worldwide iTunes Album Chart

The six-track EP debuted on the worldwide iTunes and the European iTunes album charts. Aside from that, it also topped iTunes album charts in 30 different regions, including Brazil, Cambodia, Chile, France, Indonesia, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Poland, and Sweden.

The mini-album has double title tracks, "Who Are You," which was released as a single before the official release of "B," and "Slow Mo." "Who Are You," which features Red Velvet's Seulgi, is a mix of hip-hop drum beats with an indie bass line. It conveys the story about how Bambam is creating a new world of infinite possibilities.

The concept photo revealed before the album's release attracted attention by artistically embodying the album's story with different objects like shadows and mirrors, fisheye lenses and acrylic spheres, stone statues, colorful fur, and flowing paintings.

BamBam's Records with Second Mini-Album 'B,' Social Media Followers Increases

Last January 18, an online showcase to commemorate the release of BamBam's 2nd Mini-album "B" was held. It is the first time in about 7 months that he has released a solo album other than GOT7 since 'riBBon,' which was released in June of last year.

Then, as of January 25, GOT7 BamBam has recorded 1,350,000 YouTube subscribers, and his Instagram account has increased to 15,500,000 followers. His Twitter account secured 950,200 followers; meanwhile, his TikTok hit three million followers.

The music video of "Slow Mo" has accumulated 37,945,995 views as of January 25.
Meanwhile, BamBam released the pre-single "Who Are You" last December 28, 2021, before the release of their second mini-album "B." In this song, Red Velvet member Seulgi was featured and the song received a lot of praise.

Moreover, "Who Are You" topped the iTunes Top Songs chart in a total of 21 regions, including Colombia, Ecuador, France, Malaysia, Mongolia, Qatar, Paraguay, and the Philippines.
