Super Junior Kyuhyun Reveals How Different He Has Become as a Singer Now Compared to His Rookie Days
Recently on January 25, Super Junior's youngest member Kyuhyun held an online showcase to commemorate the release of his latest mini-album "Love Story," which is the fourth and final album of his "2021 Project: Season."
During his online showcase, Kyuhyun reminisced about the past and recalled the time he had just made his debut as the new main vocalist of the iconic boy group back in 2006, a year after Super Junior made their debut in November 2005.
Kyuhyun shared that his attitude and mindset as a singer had changed since he made his debut. "My attitude as well as my mindset about being a singer and releasing my own music had changed a lot since making my debut," Kyuhyun said.
He then explained that during his early debut days, he only wanted to become a singer due to his love for music. "At first, the only thing I had wanted was to become a singer because I really loved music. So, when I got a chance to release my very first solo album back in 2014, I couldn't have been more happier about it," Kyuhyun said.

With those constant thoughts lingering in his head, Kyuhyun then confesses to feeling pressured to make more relatable and meaningful songs for fans nowadays.
Kyuhyun Confesses to Feeling Less Passionate for Music
Kyuhyun also revealed at the showcase that he used to sing for himself during his rookie days, but after over a decade of being in the industry, it is now different for him.
"In the beginning, I just sang for myself because I felt happy whenever I sang. It is really different now though. I feel the need to deliver some sort of meaningful message through my songs now," the idol said.

However, at the same time, I also feel like I am losing the passionate me who was filled with a pure love for music," Kyuhyun reveals.
He wrapped up his topic by saying that although it is upsetting for sure, he believes that this is a proof he is making good progress in his career.
