February 2022 Idol Brand Reputation Rankings: BTS Jimin, 2PM Junho, More [Ranked]

On February 2 KST, the Korean Business Research Institute revealed this month's brand reputation rankings for male and female group members. From BTS Jimin to 2PM Junho, read to know the full list of the most popular idols for February 2022!

The brand reputation rankings are based on the total reputation index of an idol through the analysis of their media coverage, consumer participation, communication, and community awareness indexes from the big data collected from 1,453 idols from January 2 to February 2.

The big data gathered for February 2022 is 96,118,323, which is a decrease of 25.61 percent from the big data of 129,208,295 collected back in September 2021.

BTS Jimin is the No. 1 Most Popular Idol in February 2022

Taking the No. 1 spot and setting a new record as the first and only idol to rank at No. 1 for 21 times is BTS' Jimin, who is the most popular idol for the month of February!

According to the Korean Business Research Institute, the "Filter" singer had gathered a total brand reputation index of 5,682,902 for this month, with a media index of 959,406, a participation index of 977,420, a communication index of 2,349,182, and a community index of 1,396,894.

In comparison to Jimin's brand reputation index back in September with 6,294,959, the BTS member's index for this month saw a decrease of 9.72 percent.

In addition, Jimin's highest-ranking related terms are "travel," "certified," and "operation," while his highest-ranking phrases for keyword analysis are "Jeju," "Instagram," and "corona" (COVID-19).

In terms of Jimin's positive-negative ratio analysis, his positive ratio was analyzed to be 78.50 percent.

2PM Junho and Kang Daniel are in Top 3 Most Popular Idols in February 2022

Coming in as the second most popular idol for the month of February is 2PM member Junho!

For this month, the "Make It" singer garnered a total brand reputation index of 4,367,152, with a media index of 1,235,640, a participation index of 1,160,414, a communication index of 1,040,995, and a community index of 930,103.

In comparison to Junho's index back in September with 1,104,527, his brand reputation index for this month saw an increase of a whopping 295.39 percent.

Coming in at No. 3 in the idol brand reputation rankings is former Wanna One member Kang Daniel!

Kang Daniel has a total brand reputation index of 3,967,058, with a media index of 1,201,963, a participation index of 1,075,612, a communication index of 833,122, and a community index of 856,361.
