Kwon Mina Admits to Wanting to 'Give Pain' to Shin Jimin in Latest Instagram Post
On February 9 KST, former AOA member Kwon Mina shared a lengthy new post on her Instagram account, which once again addresses her feud with fellow former AOA member and leader Shin Jimin.
In this post, Kwon Mina shares a screenshot of a message she got from a fan, which said "I didn't come to attack you, but I came to ask. Why did you like about what happened between you and Shin [Jimin]? I believed in what you had said as empathy was my biggest reason. I hope that you can be happy someday."
To this, Kwon Mina said that she wanted to answer the question all at once and summarize the facts.
She began, "First of all, the parts where I suffered, the parts where she told me to die, the swearing, violence, and subtle bullying, and the fact that I was the only one being bothered in the team, I swear it was all true. That period was about 9 to 10 years. It is also true that I cursed at them through messages after that, which was shown exactly as it was in the news articles."
Kwon Mina added that she had been suffering for 10 years, and things piled up. "I have been suffering for 10 years, and it piled up so much that I just wanted to do anything. Even if such a crude act could be my revenge, if it could give her pain, I don't care if I would become just like her, I wanted to do it all," she said.

Kwon Mina Says Shin Jimin's Apologies Were Insincere
The former AOA member then explains that Shin Jimin was never sincere in her apologies, especially as the latter claimed to not being able to remember the incidents.
"Because everyone my family had suffered from me making several suicide attempts. There are a lot of lines in the transcript where she kept saying 'I'm sorry.' But for me, who saw that woman's expression and the tone of her voice right there, it was never a genuine apology," Kwon Mina stated.

She added, "More than anything else, how could that woman, who says she doesn't remember, make a sincere apology? I didn't do anything well and I was stupid, but I don't think that is going to make all of her sins go away."
Kwon Mina ends her post by saying that she is in a good mental state right now, "I am in a good mental state right now. I am doing so well. However, I wanted to arrange this story properly."
Meanwhile, Kwon Mina departed from AOA back in 2019. Shin Jimin later left the group and the entertainment industry in 2020 after being accused by Kwon Mina for bullying her.
