Apink Talks About 'Hush'

On Tuesday, Feb. 15, four of the six Apink idols appeared on KBS2's "Problem Child in House."

While there, the hosts asked Apink to share with them why they rarely hear the group sing "Hush", especially during their live performances.

Chorong, Eunji, Namjoo, and Hayoung explained that there's a long history behind the track.

According to Hayoung, Apink decided to change their direction for the first time ever shortly after "Hush" was released.

Chorong added that shortly after they debuted, their CEO became absorbed with the retro theme.

Eunji chimed in and said that this was also when T-ara Sunbaenims dropped "Roly-Poly," which also had a retro theme.

So, Apink members became worried that "Hush" would not fit the concept that they had when they debuted.

Since they were known for their innocent, pure, and wholesome songs, they felt that "Hush" was a huge takeoff from their usual music.

As such, Apink thought that Pink Pandas (Apink fandom) wouldn't enjoy listening to "Hush" as much as they loved their other tracks.

Chorong, who serves as the leader for Apink, said that she even tried to protest the management's decision to change their concept. However, no one listened to her.

So, they still had to release "Hush" but have not performed it as much as their other songs

Since the track has a long history, it wasn't surprising to know that Apink members still remembered the lyrics to the song.

In fact, they also know most of the steps to "Hush." So, they treated viewers with a spontaneous performance during their appearance in "Problem Child in House."

The hosts cheered Chorong, Eunji, Namhoo, and Hayoung on, and they all had a wonderful time.

Apink Drops New Album 'Horn'

In December 2021, reports revealed that Apink was gearing to release new music for their fans. Sources confirmed that the new song would be available starting this month.

And on Feb. 14, Apink made sure to treat Pink Pandas with a new album, "Horn," to commemorate their 10th anniversary.

They also dropped the official music video for "Dilemma" on the same day.

"Horn" serves as Apink's 10th debut anniversary project, and it consists of 11 tracks. "Dilemma" serves as the title track for "Horn."

Following the release of their album, Apink talked about "Horn" and shared what it was like working with Black Eyed Pilseung again.

Chorong said that making a comeback after almost two years was fun and enjoyable for everyone. Even though it was tiring to record new music and perform their music videos, she said that her heart and mind were always happy.

Namjoo is also thrilled to have worked with Black Eyed Pilseung again. She also said that the hook to "Dilemma" is what made the song different from others.

After all, "Dilemma" is about the problems that humans feel when you can't decide on what you should do about your relationship.
