INFINITE Sungjong Shocks Many by Revealing How Much He Eats Per Meal
Recently on February 23, INFINITE youngest member Sungjong took to the global fan community platform, Pocketdol, to update fans of what he has been up to lately and have a casual chat with them.
During his time on the app made for one-on-one messages between a K-Pop idol and fan, Sungjong had shared with fans one of his meals for the day through a photo of his lunch.
In the photo Sungjong shared, which features a nicely-designed black plate, on it there was a portion of hamburger steak, kimchion the side, and some brown rice.
Along with the photo, Sungjong also shared a message, saying that he is working towards eating more gradually.
"I am trying to eat a lot more starting today," Sungjong said.
Despite Sungjong promising to try and eat more, many fans couldn't help but be shocked with his very small portion.
In fact, such a portion is usually seen and done by K-Pop idols who are undergoing diets to lose weight.

Some fans also became concerned for the idol, as just a few days ago on the same day, he revealed a photo of him standing on a wieghing scale, which revealed that he only weights around 50.7kg.
Such a weight drew concern as female idols are usually the one who weighs such an amount, and also, due to Sungjong's height of being around 180cm (5'11").
This means that in relation to Sungjong's height, he is considered underweight based on his body mass index (BMI).
Following the reveal of his small meal portions, Sungjong became a hot topic on online community platforms.

Upon seeing the photos, numerous fans left comments such as, "Even my seven year old song eats way more than you do," "Being underweight is also a health issue," "Oppa, you are eating so little," "That is too thin. Please eat more," "50kg at 180cm, that has got to be a health concern," "That number is really concerning. But if he is sharing it on social media, then he probably doesn't have any noticeable health concerns," and "He should really undergo a health checkup," among similar others.

In other news, Sungjong was discharged from his mandatory military service back in May 2021, after serving as a public service worker beginning July 2019.
Following his discharge, he became a special host for Naver NOW's "Late Night Idol."
More recently, he parted ways with Woollim Entertainment in January 2022, after being with the label for 13 years.
This year, Sungjong also became the host of Blabla's "Idol Blossom."
