BLACKPINK Jennie's Instagram Flooded With Malicious Comments
On February 26, one of BLACKPINK Jennie's latest Instagram posts has reportedly been gaining numerous malicious comments from Chinese netizens after it was reported that the BLACKPINK member had showed her support for Korean Olympic short track skater, Hwang Dae Heon.
Reports of Jennie showing her support for the Olympic skater came after Hwang Dae Heon himself had revealed that he was a fan of Jennie and that he received words of support from the idol herself during the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics.
Although Jennie had never cheered publicly for the Korean national team during the Olympics, reports say that she had privately supported Hwang Dae Heon, with the the latter revealing that she had congratulated him for his gold medal, and told him to not get injured and cheer up for the rest of the games.
Upon finding out that Jennie had showed support for a Korean athlete, who had won against a Chinese athlete to win gold, had angered Chinese netizens and prompted them to leave malicious comments on the "Pretty Savage" rapper's Instagram profile.

Following news of Jennie being terrorized by Chinese netizens, BLACKPINK fans, BLINKs, took to Jennie's profile to leave numerous words of support and love to drown out the malicious comments, as well as reassuring her that there are many Chinese BLINKs who will continue to do so despite the comments.

Many fans have also spoken up to condemn that actions of the Chinese netizens, citing the latter's reason to hate to hate on Jennie as "really stupid" for supporting Korean national players, given that Jennie is Korean herself.

Meanwhile, Jennie recently starred in Calvin Klein's Spring 2022 campaign and modeled some of the brand's collection with other individuals, in which she drew much attention after showing off her fit physique in her latest pictorials with Calvin Klein.
Beauty brand HERA also dropped Jennie's latest pictorials with the brand for their new lip products, which showcased Jennie's clear beauty.
Recently on February 22, a new game in collaboration with Jennie was also released, called "Jentle Garden" by eyewear brand Gentle Monster, which is now available for download through the App Store and Google Play Store.
Aside from Jennie's collaborations with numerous brands, she also made a guest appearance on the February 25 episode of "The Game Caterers 2," alongside her fellow YG Entertainment artists.
