From "Summer Queen" to "Spring Queen," Red Velvet is finally back with a new release!
On March 2, the quintet dropped its first teaser clip, hinting at their upcoming mini-album's concept. Along with the video, the release date and the album's title track were also unveiled!
Red Velvet Hints at New Album's Concept with Teaser Clip
In March, the "Best Idol Group Alive" Red Velvet is expected to dazzle the music industry once again this spring with its new mini-album.
On March 2 at midnight KST, a teaser clip was posted on Red Velvet's official account, heralding a new era for the girl group.
In particular, the 15-second clip featured an animation involving a young girl in a pink dress whose face was hidden inside a box. When she slightly tilted the box, all objects around her including the lamp, teddy bear, bulb, etc, suddenly came to life.
The eerie vibe of the video gained explosive reactions from fans, particularly ReVeluvs (Red Velvet fandom). One of the "easter eggs" that fans then pointed out is the cat's tail behind a sprinkler, hinting at the continuation of Red Velvet's "ReVe Festival" trilogy, first released in 2019.
Red Velvet Comeback 2022: Release Date, Mini-Album + Title Track
Following the release of the teaser clip, SM Entertainment unveiled more details regarding the girl group's return to the K-pop stage this year.
According to the press, Red Velvet's new mini-album "ReVe Festival 2022" will be released on March 21. The album is expected to contain a total of six new songs, along with the title track, "Feel My Rhythm".
SM Entertainment also stated that Red Velvet's new mini-album will be pre-sold at various online and offline record stores from this day onwards.

In particular, the album is expected to top the group's recent hits such as "Red Flavor," "Power Up," "Umpah Umpah," and "Queendom."
From "Summer Queen," Red Velvet who is signaling a new transformation is set to earn the modifier, "Spring Queen" as well as raising more expectations from K-pop fans.
Red Velvet proved their wide range of music spectrum and conceptual digestibility through solo and unit activities last year will mark their first group activity since "Queendom" release in August 2021. Due to this, attention is also focused on what they will show through this album.
On the other hand, before the comeback, Red Velvet will host a special live "2022 The ReVe Festival: Prologue" at SK Handball Stadium in Seoul Olympic Park for two days from March 19 to 20 and meet with fans.
