BIGHIT Music just made TXT Hueningkai's dream of holding a sports day for fans come true. Unfortunately, not all MOAs are glad.
Read below to know why TXT fans are upset.
TXT To Host 'PLAY X TOGETHER'
On Tuesday, March 8, BIGHIT Music announced the sports event will take place on March 26 via the multiverse platform, Zep.
The agency added that the event will feature different teams made up of TXT members and MOAs to compete with each other in various sports and activities.
Other than the games, there will also be real-time conversations between all the participants and hosts, and there will also be video chats.
However, MOAs (TXT fandom) were dismayed. It did not take long before they realized that not all of them can take part in the event.
Other than the fact that only 100 lucky MOAs can participate in the "PLAY X TOGETHER" event with their favorite K-pop idols, only those that have a membership can participate.
"PLAY X TOGETHER" is not TXT's first multiverse event. In 2021, they also held several activities via ZEPETO.
Following the announcement, MOAs recalled all the times wherein TXT Huening Kai said that he wants to host a sports day for MOAs.
Nevertheless, the TXT fandom could not be happier for him because his dream is finally coming true.
MOAs Upset With BIGHIT Music's Rules
However, the excitement of MOAs was short-lived. Some of them tried to send in their applications to participate in the sports event, but they were unable to.
After all, only MOA membership holders are allowed to take part in the activities.
Those who have a membership can already start sending their application until Thursday, March 10, at 12:00 KST.
The results will be released via email on Friday, March 11 in the TXT Event Entry History.
Hopeful TXT fans are disappointed by the rules, and they also urge BIGHIT Music to figure out ways how other fans without a membership can also take part in similar events.
K-pop and NFTs
Other TXT fans are also upset with the fact that the "PLAY X TOGETHER" event will take place via multiverse.

After all, they see this as HYBE's way of introducing NFTs. The multiverse app ZEP reportedly displays and sells NFTs.
So, even MOAs that have a membership to take part in the sports event are now deciding whether they should send in their applications or not.
Regardless of what happens, here is to hoping that TXT's sports day with TXT fans will be a success!
