On March 10 at 6 p.m. KST, BTS kicked off their 2022 Seoul concert "PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE - SEOUL" at the Olympic Stadium. The show was held both as an online and offline event.

Only 15,000 people were allowed to attend BTS' 2022 Seoul Concert Day 1 due to the COVID-19 situation in South Korea. The two succeeding shows will also have the same number of attendees, for a total of 45,000 people in three days.

This makes "PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE - SEOUL" the biggest concert in the country since the pandemic began in 2020.

Upon arrival at the Olympic Stadium, fans will spot a massive billboard of the boy group's official concert poster outside. Meanwhile, inside the venue, there are two big screens set up on stage and there are lots of chairs arranged in the middle of the stadium which fans later occupied.

As usual, a soundcheck was held a few hours before the main concert started. RM, Jin, V, Jungkook, Suga, J-Hope, and Jimin performed "Life Goes On," "Telepathy," and "DNA."

BTS' 2022 Seoul Concert Day 1 was filled with performances of their songs from their old and new albums. At the beginning of the concert, the septet performed "ON," "FIRE (Remix)," "DOPE," "DNA," "Blue & Grey," "BLACK SWAN," "Blood, Sweat & Tears," and "Fake Love."

Unlike the concerts held before the pandemic that had ARMYs' screams, the sounds of clappers are the only ones that can be heard throughout the concert besides the boys' singing. The fans were asked to refrain from cheering and shouting as part of Big Hit Music's COVID-19 measures.

In addition to the performances of songs, BTS also gave fans little surprises. A few of them are RM's blonde hair, Jimin and J-Hope's see-through shirts, and hip thrusts of Suga and Jungkook.

Other notable moments during the show are BTS taking a group picture with K-ARMYs and the BTS members singing a happy birthday song for Suga, who celebrated his birthday on March 9.
