EXO Kai Temporarily Halts Activities Following COVID-19 Positive Result
On March 15 KST, SM Entertainment confirmed that EXO member Kai was diagnosed to be positive of the COVID-19 virus.
According to the label, the idol had already completed his second dose of COVID-19 vaccine, and due to his positive test result, he will be suspending all of his scheduled activities in the meantime to undergo quarantine at home and receive treatment.

"Hello, this is SM Entertainment.
EXO Kai had tested positive for COVID-19 back on March 14.
He had already completed his second round of vaccination and is currently halting all of his schedules and will undergo treatment at home in accordance with the health authorities' guidelines.
We will thoroughly be complying with the quarantine guidelines set by the health authorities, and make sure to do our best to focus on Kai's recovery, as we consider the health and safely of our artists as the top priority.
Thank you."

Meanwhile, Kai is the second EXO member to test positive for the contagious virus, with Xiumin having tested positive back in August 2021.
Aside from Kai, numerous artists of SM Entertainment have also contracted the virus, with Red Velvet members Joy, Irene, and Yeri confirming the positive test results just recently on March 14.
EXO Kai's Latest Activities and Releases
In other news, the EXO member's latest music release was back on November 30 of last year, when he dropped his second mini-album "Peaches," which features a total of six tracks including his lead single of the same name.
More recently, Kai became the new ambassador for the face mask brand, Charmzone Mask, back in February of this year.
Following the announcement that Kai is the new brand ambassador, Charmzone Mask, which marketed Kai and their products with the idea of a "mask with a different level," had sold more than 17 million units around the world in just 28 days. This means that at least seven face masks were sold per second, showing off Kai's global brand power.
Since Kai's ambassadorship, Charmzone Mask has been seeing a steady growth in the brand's sales.

Aside from Charmzone Mask, Kai also became the new muse for Yves Saint Laurent Beauty in South Korea, which was announced through a pictorial with Marie Claire Korea.
This year, Kai also starred in his very own web show called "Kai's Bucket List." The show aired on Abema TV and Seezn from January to February for five episodes.
