K-Drama Actors Who Could Become K-Pop Idols — Ahn Hyo Seop, Lee Sung Kyung, MORE!

These six K-drama actors can become idols ASAP!

1. Ahn Hyo Seop

Ahn Hyo Seop, who is gaining attention for his role as Kang Tae Mu in "A Business Proposal," originally started his career as a K-pop trainee under JYP Entertainment! He was initially given a chance to debut in GOT7 but turned down the offer to pursue different endeavors.

Though he is now famous as an actor, he has proved several times that he is still outstanding at singing and dancing. In April 2017, Ahn Hyo Seop released a dance video with Kim Seul Gi. The video shows that Ahn Hyo Seop's dance foundation is still intact despite no longer training to be an idol.

2. Seol In Ah

Seol In Ah is another "A Business Proposal" star who used to be a K-pop idol. She trained with KARA member Heo Youngji for four years during her high school days. However, when Seol In Ah discovered her passion for acting, she started majoring in the field and debuted as an actress with a minor role in "The Producers."

Despite not training for years, the actress has proven that she is still a fantastic dancer in several show appearances. For example, during her appearance on "Running Man," she and Chungha showed off their tight friendship and fantastic performance skills!

3. Park Min Young

Park Min Young rose to international fame as an actress, with many loving her role in "What's Wrong with Secretary Kim?" Though famous as an actress, Park Min Young has proven that she is quite the dancer! The actress has collaborated on several dance videos with top choreographers, including May J Lee.

Park Min Young often treats fans to her dancing during her fan meetings. The starlet uses dancing as a workout, but her skills are enough to debut as an idol!

4. Kim Min Jae

Before debuting as an actor, Kim Min Jae was a first-generation idol trainee under CJ E&M. He was a potential member of a boy group under the company and was meant to be a rapper. He even appeared on "Show Me the Money 4" as a contestant! However, when the group did not make their debut, he pursued a career in acting.

The actor has shown his dance skills in several appearances, such as on "Knowing Bros." Back when he was a trainee, he performed busking performances on the streets of Hongdae. He proved that he is a fantastic rapper and a great dancer too!

5. Lee Sung Kyung

Lee Sung Kyung is known as a model and actress active in the entertainment industry. She rose to fame with her roles in "Weighlifting Fairy Kim Book Joo" and "Dr. Romantic 2." Though she is an actor, Lee Sung Kyung is also known for her strong vocal skills and dancing skills.

On social media, the idol has shared several covers and dance films. Lee Sung Kyung, who is tall and has impressive performance skills, can become an idol whenever she wants!

6. Park Shin Hye

Prior to her debut as an actress, Park Shin Hye was a trainee under Dream Factory Club. She was training to become a vocalist but was soon trained to be an actress. Though now a famous actress, Park Shin Hye is still a fantastic vocalist worthy of becoming an idol!

On social media, Park Shin Hye has also shared videos of her dancing in several genres, such as hip-hop and ballet. She can also play the guitar. What an all-rounder artist!
