Following the release of Red Velvet's "Feel My Rhythm," K-pop fans and media and music critics praised the group. In an article, a reporter even cited the group as "K-pop Queen" for THIS reason.
Media Outlet Praises Red Velvet's Concept as 'K-pop Classical' Following 'Feel My Rhythm' Release
On March 23, the Korean media outlet Newsis lauded Red Velvet's successful comeback. In an article, the outlet particularly highlighted the quintet's concept that once again did not fail the ears and eyes of music fans.
According to speculations, Red Velvet indulges in "Classics" is in line with the creation of SM Entertainment's worldview (KWANGYA).

This time, Red Velvet used Bach as a reference. Some proofs include the group releasing teasers that sampled Bach's "Air on the G String." It exuded the image of a ballerina performing in opera sets through the MV.
On top of that, fans also found out that Red Velvet gave homage to famous paintings. It maximizes the theory that Red Velvet's "Feel My Rhythm" is close to the "most approximate value of classicality" that K-pop can show.
Additionally, the day the album was released was on Bach's birthday, March 21. It is surprisingly not a coincidence.
Media Outlet Selects Red Velvet as 'K-pop Queen'
Furthermore, fans, especially ReVeluvs (Red Velvet fans) are already choosing "Feel My Rhythm" as the song most likely to be arranged by the orchestra in SM Classic, a classic label of SM.
With this, Newsis emphasized:
Due to these elegant elements, Red Velvet matches the nickname "K-pop Queen" the most.
They became the "Summer Queen" through "Red Flavor" and later on took the "Spring Queen" through "Feel My Rhythm." At this rate, the group will also claim their position as "Four Season Queen."
Along with this, reporter Lee Jae Hoon also conveyed his positive review of "Feel My Rhythm, saying:
"It has been a long time since I met a K-pop song with a good melody in the midst of a flow of hip-hop dance music with beats such as electronic sound or hip-hop. In other words, K-pop fans have earned a wonderful "spring carol."
In addition, all five members of Red Velvet, including Wendy, Seulgi, Joy, and Yeri, as well as visual member Irene, are perfect for the album concept.
At the end of the article, the outlet claimed that Red Velvet continues to become the representative of third-gen girl groups. It is for their ability to maximize the industry by flaunting a new genre in K-pop.
"However, Red Velvet and SM know how to approximate the area with K-pop. This is why Red Velvet, the representative of the third-generation girl group, does not miss the status of "Queendom," even though the fourth-generation K-pop girl group is making strides."
