YG Plus is being criticized for shipping damaged copies of NU'EST's final album, "Needle & Bubble." Keep on reading for all the details.
YG Plus Garners Backlash for Shipping Damaged NU'EST Albums
On March 15, NU'EST released their final album, "Need & Bubble," and its lead single, "Again." This is NU'EST's last release as a group. They officially disbanded the same day of the release. The album is considered the final chapter of NU'EST's ten-year journey.
This is a special release for the group's fanbase. Many hope to preserve this album as a good memory and final goodbye to their favorite idol.
However, this has not been the case for several fans.
When the album arrived, many discovered that the album pages were torn and tattered. Others did not receive any inclusions, such as posters or photo cards. There were even some who did not get the CD. The quality did not live up to expectations.

On Twitter, several internet users shared photos of their photo books with torn pages. Others revealed that they are missing pages or were given photobooks with blank pages. According to long-time K-pop supporters, damages from inside the product cannot be blamed on shipment. Instead, this error is likely from the production side.
In January 2021, Big Hit Entertainment announced that they had invested in YG Plus to produce their products, such as albums and photobooks. Products for Big Hit Entertainment artists, BTS and TXT, are made by YG Plus.
When Big Hit Entertainment shifted to HYBE Labels and absorbed other labels, all products for artists under their roster were produced by YG Plus.

Many are blaming YG Plus for mishandling the production of NU'EST's album. People pointed out that NU'EST's album quality was good until it fell into the hands of YG Plus. Many are demanding that YG Plus rectify the situation by refunding customers with defective products or replacing them for free.
YG Plus Gets Slammed for Sloppy Production of Idol Goods
Sadly, this is not the first time YG Plus has been criticized for the unprofessional production of goods. When BLACKPINK's Lisa made her solo debut with "LALISA," YG Plus was slammed for not producing enough copies of her single album. As a result, many internet users revealed their orders were canceled due to the lack of copies. Because of that, the idol's records were greatly affected.
ARMYs (BTS's fanbase) has also pointed out that BTS's album quality has gone down since production fell into YG Plus's hands. Many revealed that they received albums with torn photobooks, mixed-up names, and blank pages.
