GOT7 BamBam to Debut New Single at Halftime Show of Golden State Warriors vs Los Angeles Lakers Game

On March 31, the Golden State Warriors shared a series of events to celebrate the team's regular-season finale. The main event is scheduled on Thursday, April 7, during the Warriors' final game with Los Angeles Lakers, and it will feature a performance by K-pop star BamBam (of GOT7).

In particular, BamBam will perform an unreleased, new single during the game for the first time. This song is titled "Wheels Up" and it features Oakland singer MAYZIN.

One day before the game, the GOT7 member will pay a visit to the Thrive City Warriors Shop to celebrate the launch of his exclusive collaboration merchandise with the Warriors at 10 a.m. local time. He will also hold a meet and greet with 50 lucky fans.

According to KRON-4, the fans will be randomly chosen from among those who purchase the new merchandise at the event.

BamBam and NBA's Golden State Warriors have been teasing their collaborations since this past February. In a video he shared on Twitter, the K-pop star said that there's an "upcoming surprise."

The GOT7 member officially joined the Golden State Warriors family when he was chosen as the global ambassador for the team in January of this year.

At that time, the K-pop idol shared several photos of himself wearing his new Golden State Warriors jersey on Instagram.

This is a memorable time for BamBam as he has always been a fan of the Golden State Warriors, especially the team's point guard Stephen Curry.

Meanwhile, the Warriors-Lakers game will be on TNT on April 7 at 7 p.m.

"B" consists of a total of six songs including the title track "Slow Mo" and the pre-release song "Who Are You" (featuring Seulgi of Red Velvet).

Shortly after it came out, GOT7 BamBam's "B" already scored No. 1 on iTunes Album charts in 30 different countries, including Cambodia, Ecuador, Kenya, Fiji, Turkey, Sweden, Laos, Denmark, and more.

The title song "Slow Mo" also debuted at No. 1 on Genie's real-time chart and hit No. 1 on iTunes Song charts in at least 17 different regions, including Costa Rica, Guatemala, Kazakhstan, Peru, Sri Lanka, and more.

Furthermore, "B" reached the top spot on both the Worldwide iTunes Album and European iTunes Album charts at the same time.
