BIGBANG T.O.P Announces Own Wine Brand

On April 7, BIGBANG member T.O.P took to Instagram to announce the launch of his wine brand, T'SPOT.

T.O.P himself curated the wine. During an interview with Prestige Hong Kong, T.O.P revealed that the wine will be produced in France. T'SPOT currently sells a 2017 Bordeaux curated by T.O.P and produced in France by Thunevin.

Thunevin refers to Jean-Luc Thunevin Selection, a popular modern windemaker based in Saint-Emilion.

According to T.O.P, the wine will be "as affordable" as he can, and a portion of the proceeds will go to support an arts foundation.

Long-time fans of T.O.P have already known about his love for wine. During a fan meeting in 2017, T.O.P revealed he bought an entire vineyard in Argentina so that he could produce his own wine.

At the time, he stated he bought the vineyard not for commercial use but to gift fans wine and for his personal consumption.

Before the announcement of his wine brand, T.O.P already hinted at it in BIGBANG's "Still Life" music video!

During T.O.P's parts in the music video, his back is often seen facing the camera. On the back of his winter coat, the logo of T'SPOT is actually seen!

At the time, VIPs and internet users had not yet been informed of the brand's existence. It looks like the male idol wanted to tease fans before the launch!

The logo art for T'SPOT was made by Kohei Nawa, a long-time friend and collaborator of T.O.P.
