Yoon Seobin's Controversy
In 2019, Yoon Seobin competed in "PRODUCE X 101" as a JYP Entertainment trainee. He was a promising contestant. He ranked at number 12 in the first episode.
However, following his reveal as a contestant, several old classmates from Gwangju took to social media to accuse Yoon Seobin of being a school bully. They claimed he was the well-known perpetrator of school violence during middle school, where he was known by his birth name, Yoon Byung Hwee.

People also shared photos of Yoon Seo Bin drinking underage and smoking while wearing a school uniform.
However, some people defended Yoon Seobin, saying he was a good student who was part of the athletic club.

JYP Entertainment and Mnet announced that they were investigating the claims. Soon, JYP Entertainment announced that they had terminated Yoon Seobin's contract and would be withdrawing from "PRODUCE X 101."
Yoon Seobin connected with Ilgan Sports to apologize after his departure from the show and company. He confessed to partying in high school and apologized to JYP Entertainment and Mnet for the scandal.
Activities of Yoon Seobin Following Controversy
After leaving JYP Entertainment, Yoon Seobin signed with Sublime Artist Agency in December 2019. He held his first solo fan meeting on December 15, 2019. On December 19, he released a cover of Seo Bin's "Miracles in December."
He left the company in January 2022 and is currently an independent trainee. No announcement was made, and it is unknown why Yoon Seobin decided to part ways with Sublime Artist Agency.

Yoon Seobin made his acting debut in 2020 in the web drama "Touch Me If You Can." He played the main role of Sung Shi Woo. Yoon Seobin starred alongside Lee Hyunjoo, a former member of APRIL.
That same year, Yoon Seobin played a supporting role in the web drama "The Mermaid Prince: The Beginning." He played the role of Yoon Jae Beom. The web drama stars ASTRO's Moon Bin, Chae Won Bin, and SF9's Hwiyoung.

In 2021, Yoon Seobin played a supporting role in the web drama "Not Found Love."
In 2022, Yoon Seobin starred in the BL (Boys Love) web drama, "Kissable Lips." Yoon Seobin played the role of Choi Min Hyun.

Besides acting, Yoon Seobin has a YouTube channel. There, he uploads vlogs and behind-the-scene videos from drama shootings. He has also focused on modeling.
