#HelloAgainCHEN: Chen's Song 'Hello' Rises on Charts Following EXO Member's Military Discharge
Today, on April 25 KST, it was announced that EXO member Chen has officially been discharged from his mandatory military service, in which he completed a year and five months as an active duty soldier after enlisting back on October 26, 2020.
With this, Chen's discharge makes him the fourth EXO member, following after fellow members Xiumin, D.O, and Suho to complete their mandatory service.
The other EXO members, such as Chanyeol and Baekhyun, are currently serving their mandatory military enlistment and is expected to be discharged this September and in February 2023, respectively.
Following the announcement of his discharge, EXO fans EXO-Ls took to their social media to celebrate the idol completing his service, and to also welcome him back.
Over on Twitter, fans are trending the hashtags "#HelloAgainCHEN" and "#WelcomeBackCHEN," along with expressing their happiness over Chen's return through the phrase "Our Vocal King Is Back" and sending the idol sweet messages.
The hashtags trended in more than 24 countries, including the United States, Indonesia, Iran, the Philippines, Turkey, Thailand, South Korea, India, Malaysia, and more.

In addition, fans also started streaming his solo tracks, such as his 2020 single "Hello."
In fact, Chen's track re-entered the Worldwide iTunes Songs Chart on the same day, ranking high and landing on No. 29 on the chart.
"Hello" charted on the iTunes Songs Chart in several countries as well, including Luxembourg, Argentina, Chile, El, Salvador, Ecuador, Peru, Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates (UAE), Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, and more.
Meanwhile, Kai and Sehun are the remaining members who have yet to enlist for their mandatory military service.

EXO Chen's Activities Prior to Enlistment
Prior to his enlistment, Chen collaborated with Dynamic Duo to release the single "You" on January 23, 2020. In the same year in September, Chen lent his voice for the original soundtrack "Your Moonlight" for the drama "Do You Like Brahms?"
On October 16, 2020, Chen released his single "Hello," which served as his last release before enlisting 10 days after.
Chen also got married in a private ceremony to his non-celebrity girlfriend in January 2020, and later became a father to his first child on April 29. Back in January of this year, his wife gave birth to their second child.
