4 K-Pop Groups People are Happy to See Reunite

These four K-pop groups went through a period of inactivity but ultimately reunited!

1. T-ARA

T-ARA debuted in 2009 and gifted the music industry several catchy bops, such as "Roly Poly" and "Bo Peep Bo Peep."

Sadly, T-ARA faced immense backlash after former member Hwayoung accused the members of bullying her in 2012. The situation was only resolved in 2017 when staff members revealed Hwayoung was the one who was rude to her members and staff members.

T-ARA went on hiatus in 2018, with all the members leaving MBK Entertainment. The girl group reunited for their first musical release in three years on November 15, 2021. The girl group released the single album, "Re:T-ara," in collaboration with Dingo Music.

On November 21, they held a fan meeting.

2. 2NE1

2NE1 was one of the most popular second-generation K-pop groups, known for their avant-garde girl crush concept. However, following Park Bom's "drug" incident, 2NE1 went on a hiatus in 2015. Though they made a surprise appearance at the 2015 Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA), the group ultimately disbanded in 2016.

3. GOT7

Sadly, it was noted that JYP Entertainment did not treat GOT7 well and mismanaged them.

Though unconfirmed, Korean media outlets report that GOT7 is planning to make a complete group comeback in May 2022.

Furthermore, it has been stated that the song's production is almost done. If true, this will be GOT7's first comeback in 14 months.

4. Wanna One

Wanna One was a group formed through the Mnet survival show "Produce 101 Season 2." During their time as a group, they were known for their immense popularity and marketing power. They were one of the top boy groups from 2017 to 2019. They were considered one of South Korea's most influential celebrities at the time.
