With just its first-day sales figure, iKON's "FLASHBACK" is already the group's best-selling album in the first week.

iKON's 'FLASHBACK' First-Day Sales Figure Is Group's Highest Amount in First Week
On May 3, iKON made their long-awaited comeback with the digital release of their fourth mini-album "FLASHBACK." The album came with the music video for the title song "BUT YOU."
The six-track album was physically released on May 10, and its first-day sales figure was revealed the following day.
According to Hanteo Chart, iKON's "FLASHBACK" sold a total of 44,359 copies on the 10th, taking the No. 2 spot on the daily album chart. The mini-album has now broken not only the group's record for first-day sales but also for first-week sales.

The band's third mini-album "i DECIDE" initially had the highest first-day sales figure with 28,287 copies sold on Feb. 6, 2020, while the second mini-album "NEW KIDS: CONTINUE" held the first-week sales record with 35,453 copies.
Interestingly, "FLASHBACK" broke iKON's four-year-old record for their highest first-week sales. "NEW KIDS: CONTINUE" was released back in August 2018.
As there are still five more days left before the official count for the first-week sales of iKON's "FLASHBACK" comes to an end, the total is projected to grow until May 16. The mini-album has sold 47,240 copies as of May 11.

iKON's "FLASHBACK" Tops iTunes Charts Across the Globe
On May 4, one day after the mini-album was released, YG Entertainment announced that iKON's "FLASHBACK" placed first on iTunes Album charts in at least 18 regions, including Thailand, Indonesia, Brazil, Vietnam, Turkey, and Singapore. The album also ranked seventh in the United States.
"FLASHBACK" even entered at No. 1 and No. 2 on the Worldwide iTunes Album and the European iTunes Album charts, respectively.

The title track "BUT YOU" successfully landed on the Worldwide iTunes Song Chart as well, debuting at No. 23. Some B-side songs also managed to enter the worldwide chart: "GOLD" at No. 38, "FOR REAL?" at No. 70, "NAME" at No. 79, and "DRAGON" at No. 92.
Additionally, "BUT YOU" topped iTunes Song charts in at least five countries such as Argentina, Peru, Philippines, Saudi Arabia, and Thailand. It also charted inside the top 60 in other nations like Malaysia, Taiwan, United Arab Emirates, Vietnam, and more.
In Japan, iKON's "BUT YOU" ranked No. 1 on the real-time charts of both AWA and Rakuten Music. The other tracks "DRAGON," "NAME," "GOLD," and "FOR REAL?" also debuted on Line Music's charts.

On YouTube, the music video for "BUT YOU" already garnered 10.4 million views as of this writing.
Meanwhile, iKON will hold six concerts in Japan in July. They will kick off the tour on July 2 in Kobe, and the remaining shows will take place in Tokyo until the last day, which is on July 10.
