TWICE Nayeon Announces Solo Debut Date With First Teaser
On May 19 at midnight KST, TWICE's label JYP Entertainment surprised fans by announcing that member Nayeon will be making her highly-anticipated solo debut in the next month.
The announcement was made through the release of a teaser poster on TWICE's social media accounts. The teaser features a tea set, two bottles of red and green nail polish, shades, and a pearl necklace, along with a pink and girly atmosphere.
According to the teaser, Nayeon will be releasing her first ever mini album called "IM NAYEON" on June 24, Friday, at 1pm KST (12mn EST).
It was also announced by JYP Entertainment that the worldwide pre-order for Nayeon's solo debut album will begin on May 24, Tuesday, at 1pm KST (12mn EST).
Based on the TWICE member's album name, "IM NAYEON," it is expected that this album will showcase more of Nayeon's own musical colors that is separate from her group, and will present a new side of the idol.

In addition, Nayeon will also become the first member of the group to make their solo debut, and comes seven years after TWICE made their debut in the industry back on October 20, 2015.
Meanwhile, as a member of TWICE, Nayeon has set multiple records and established herself as one of the leading female K-Pop idol in the industry.
In the past seven years, TWICE has released numerous hit songs songs such as "Like Ooh-Ahh," "Cheer Up," "TT," "Knock Knock," "Feel Special," "I Can't Stop Me," and more.
With all of their releases, TWICE has also racked up over a billion views on Youtube across all of their videos. They have also sold more than 7.2 million album copies so far, solidifying their place as one of the top-performing K-Pop groups.
Nayeon, who is an energizer in the group, is raising expectations and anticipation for what kind of music she will release, and it is expected that her album "IM NAYEON" will set new records.
