Mark Tuan Reveals GOT7 Bets Even During Practice - Here's One Example
On June 3, GOT7 member Mark Tuan sat down for an interview with ESQUIRE Korea for the fashion magazine's "Zip My Record" segment on YouTube. The "NANANA" singer fact checked his online bio and gave insights on old clips of him.
Regarding his position in GOT7, Mark confirmed that he is the rapper of the group. But he added that he thinks he isn't just a rapper of the team anymore but a vocalist as well.
He then jokingly said, "I'm no more confident about being a rapper these days."

As his fact checking continues, he arrives at a video, which fans claim to be "the video that will make you have a crush on Mark." The clip particularly shows all seven GOT7 members in the kitchen playing "Rock Paper Scissors" to determine the two persons who will clean up the mess in the kitchen, and Mark seems to be one of the winners.
After watching it, Mark Tuan commented, "Why were we so high?" The ESQUIRE Korea staff then said, "It seems like you like to lose."
In response to this, the rapper said that he doesn't enjoy losing, and that it would be better if others lose. He went on to say that the GOT7 members "bet a lot" even during their practice.

Mark Tuan shared, "Even when we are practicing, we bet. Such as getting butt kicked if someone makes a wrong move."
Although betting is common to everyone, the rapper is puzzled why they do bets, but he finds it fun anyway. "I don't know why we are doing this. But it's pretty amusing," he said.
After watching another video, the ESQUIRE Korea staff asked Mark Tuan if there's any interesting story with the GOT7 members he can share. The "Don't Leave Me Alone" singer replied, "I don't have anything special. Since it's been a while, we teamed up pretty well. Even better than before I think."
He continued that they respect each other so much, and because of this, everything becomes easier for them.

Meanwhile, GOT7 made a full-group comeback with their self-titled EP on May 23. The album became their best-selling work in the first week, and it is now the first album in 2022 to reach 100 No. 1s on iTunes charts.
Moreover, GOT7 is now the second Korean artist in history to achieve 100 No. 1s on iTunes, as well as the fastest Asian act to reach the feat, doing so in only eight days.

GOT7's New EP, "NANANA" Enter Billboard Charts
In other news, GOT7's new EP and its title track "NANANA" made it to various Billboard charts for the week ending on June 4.
"GOT7" entered at No. 8 on this week's World Albums chart, No. 38 on the Top Current Album Sales chart, and No. 67 on the Top Album Sales chart. The EP also landed at No. 11 on Billboard's Heatseekers Albums chart.
At the same time, the album's title song "NANANA" debuted at 6 on the World Digital Song Sales chart, becoming the group's 20th top 10 hit on the tally. This makes GOT7 the eighth Korean artist to have 20 different songs to land inside the top 10 of the said Billboard chart.
