TXT's 'minisode 2: Thursday's Child' Earns Group's New Historic Feat on Billboard 200
On June 7, Billboard updated its website to reveal the chart rankings for the week ending on June 11. It was revealed that TXT's minisode 2: Thursday's Child" once again made it to Billboard 200, the chart that ranks the most popular albums of the week in the United States.
"minisode 2: Thursday's Child" climbed down to No. 26 on the latest Billboard 200 chart after being at No. 9 in the previous week. Although it exited the top 20, the mini-album has now spent three consecutive weeks on the tally.

This makes TXT the only second male K-pop artist in history to ever chart an album inside the top 26 of Billboard 200 for three weeks in a row. The first one to do so is their senior group and labelmate BTS.
Last week, TOMORROW X TOGETHER also reached a historic milestone on Billboard 200 with "minisode 2: Thursday's Child." As mentioned above, the mini-album was at No. 9 on the chart, making TXT the second male K-pop artist - and only the third overall - to chart an album inside the top 10 for two straight weeks, following BTS and BLACKPINK.
Additionally, TXT is now the second K-pop artist in history to chart six different albums on Billboard 200, following BTS once again.

Apart from spending another week on the popular Top 200 US Album chart, TXT's "minisode 2: Thursday's Child" stayed strong at No. 1 on Billboard's World Albums chart for the third consecutive week. The mini-album also ranked No. 5 on both the Top Current Album Sales chart and Top Album Sales chart. It even landed at No. 11 on Billboard's Tastemaker Albums chart.
Lastly, TXT secured the No. 20 spot on this week's Artist 100.

TXT's 'minisode 2: Thursday's Child' Listed on Billboard's Best Albums in 2022 Thus Far
In related news, Billboard released its "50 Best Albums Of 2022 So Far," and one of the only two K-pop albums that made the list is TXT's "minisode 2: Thursday's Child" (the other K-pop album is Stray Kids' "ODDINARY").
Billboard defines "minisode 2: Thursday's Child" as an album that contains moody alt-R&B ballads, a hint of *NSYNC, '80s synth-pop, and more, combining a broad variety of genres in only five songs.

To recall, TXT's "minisode 2: Thursday's Child" debuted at No. 4 on Billboard 200 for the week ending on May 28, becoming the group's highest-ranking album on the tally to date. The mini-album earned a total of 68,500 equivalent album units during the tracking week ending on May 19, marking the quintet's highest sales week in the U.S. so far. Nearly all of the 65,500 albums sold were physical copies, with only around 500 sold via digital download.
In the same week, "minisode 2: Thursday's Child" entered at No. 1 on Billboard's Top Album Sales chart, becoming TOMORROW X TOGETHER's third release to debut atop the said chart.
