On June 8, Big Hit Music announced that BTS made it to BIllboard's mid-year boxscore report, which shows the highest-grossing concert tours held from November 1, 2021 to April 30, 2022.
In particular, BTS claimed the No. 4 spot with a whopping total gross of $75,489,240 (approximately 95 billion won) by midyear. The group impressively achieved this figure with only 11 shows.

According to Billboard, BTS's four shows at Allegiant Stadium, which drew nearly 200,000 people, generated $35.9 million, while their four other concerts at SoFi Stadium, which had approximately 213,000 spectators, generated $33.3 million. Notably, these two sets of shows claimed the No. 1 and No. 2 spots on Billboard's "Top Boxscores" (Mid-Year 2022), respectively.
Additionally, "BTS PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE - Las Vegas" was the No. 1 tour this past April. And, the boy group made the most money from their SoFi Stadium concerts since the said venue reopened this year.

Despite having only 11 total shows, BTS still managed to enter the top 5 of Billboard's "Top Tours" in the first half of 2022. In fact, the South Korean group surpassed other artists with more than 20 shows held from November 2021 to April 2022.
Big Hit Music commented, "Considering the number of shows by the rest of the artists in the Top 5, we can gauge BTS's power."
On the "Top Tours" (Mid-Year 2022) list, BTS comes behind Bad Bunny (with 37 shows), Elton John (with 40 shows), and Genesis (with 35 shows).
Concurrently, BTS joins Puerto Rican artist Bad Bunny to create history: 2022 marks the first time that two acts that performed in a non-English language enter the top five of a midyear or year-end "Top Tours" chart.
Congratulations to BTS on their successful "PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE" concert tour!
