CUBE Entertainment Haunted? LIGHTSUM Tells Stories About Their Scary Experiences

On the June 8 episode of MBC every1's "Weekly Idol," CUBE Entertainment's latest girl group LIGHTSUM made a guest appearance to promote their new song "Alive." They also played fun games with the MCs, granted fans' wishes, and more.

During the program's first segment "Self-Profile Testing Center," show host Hwang Kwanghee brought up the story that one of the LIGHTSUM members wrote in her profile. He commented, "When I saw their self-profiles, this story really shocked me. The LIGHTSUM members are so close [that] they experienced something scary together."

Kwanghee continued, "One time, Juhyeon and Jian were left at the office together. Juhyeon went to Jian because she heard Jian call her. But Jian never called her," making everyone scared.

LIGHTSUM Juhyeon then detailed that she was going down the stairs after cleaning up the practice room when she allegedly heard Jian's voice calling her name. "I wondered why she called me, so I went to her. But I couldn't find her," she added.

Juhyeon continued that she later learned Jian was in the bathroom and asked her why she was looking for her, but Jian said that she wasn't. "We got scared, so we went straight home," she said.

LIGHTSUM Jian added, "The lights were out because it was late at night."

After hearing the two members' story, "Weekly Idol" host Super Junior Eunhyuk asked the other LIGHTSUM members if anyone else experienced something creepy at CUBE Entertainment. Chowon said that she had, sharing, "It happened to me like twice."

"I was in a dance class with a trainee. We saw a staff member pass by out the door, but she didn't come into work that day," Chowon shared.

Another scary experience she had was when she was in dance class and heard someone scream when she was dancing. She added, "Later, I went to where I heard the scream, and I only found a pile of hair. But no one had their hair stepped on or pulled out," shocking everyone in the studio.

LIGHTSUM Chowon further said, "After class, we watched our practice video... and we kept hearing a guy's voice in the video. All the trainees and our teacher heard it. We just left the room right away."

In response to this, Super Junior Eunhyuk stated, "When you experience something like that, you get scared but wonder if you will become successful." The girl group agreed and said that they heard of that belief.
