6 Groups Who Set the Fastest Records in K-Pop: BLACKPINK, EXO, More!

With dozens of K-pop groups active in the industry, many different major milestones can be achieved, such as setting a new record. However, while different types of records can be attained, be it personal or as a whole, one of the most common is the fastest time to hit a milestone in the industry. And these K-pop groups did just that!

From BLACKPINK to EXO, here are six groups who have set the fastest records in the K-Pop industry!

In August 2016, BLACKPINK debuted with "Whistle" and "BOOMBAYAH." Just six days after their debut, BLACKPINK achieved a perfect all-kill (PAK), becoming the fastest K-Pop group to do so.

PAK is when a K-pop song hits No. 1 on all eight major music and real-time, daily, and weekly charts in Korea. So far, BLACKPINK is the only group to achieve this with a debut song.

The record was previously held by ITZY, who won their first music show trophy nine days after their debut.

3. EXO

Trying to grab a ticket for a K-pop concert is undoubtedly one of the most challenging things a fan will experience, and EXO's record just proves it!

Back in 2017, EXO sold out their "EXO Planet #4 - The ElyXion" concert at the Gocheok Sky Dome in just 0.2 seconds, beating their previous record of 0.4 seconds.

With an incredible 0.2 seconds, EXO became the fastest group to sell out their tickets!
