"LALISA" Becomes Fastest K-pop Solo MV of Female Artist to Hit 500 Million Views
On June 25 at 5:06 a.m. KST, Lisa's "LALISA" MV surpassed 500 million views on YouTube. The video came out on Sept. 10 at 1 p.m. KST last year, meaning it took nine months, 14 days, 16 hours, and six minutes to achieve the milestone.
With this achievement, "LALISA" has smashed the record for the fastest K-pop solo MV of a female artist to rack up 500 million views. Jennie's "SOLO" previously held this record with 623 days.

Other than that, "LALISA" is now the second-fastest female K-pop solo video to do so, following BLACKPINK Lisa's "MONEY" performance video. The latter video attained the feat on March 15 at roughly 11:30 p.m. KST, after 172 days of its release.
With "MONEY" and "LALISA," Lisa is now the first and only female K-pop soloist so far to have two videos garner 500 million views on YouTube. The BLACKPINK member also joins BTS and Justin Bieber as the only artists in the world to have at least two videos released in 2021 to garner half a billion views on YouTube.
In celebration of BLACKPINK Lisa's historic accomplishment, YG Entertainment uploaded a poster featuring the female idol in black, sparkling outfit on a motorcycle.

BLACKPINK Lisa's "MONEY" Sets New Record on YouTube
In other news, Lisa's other video "MONEY" had exceeded 600 million views as of June 20 at 9:05 p.m. KST, making it the BLACKPINK member's first video to do so. "MONEY" just took eight months (269 days) after its release on Sept. 23 of last year, becoming the fastest video by a female K-pop soloist to obtain the milestone.
Once again, Lisa broke the record previously set by Jennie with "SOLO." The latter took 739 days after its release on Nov. 12, 2018.

Moreover, "MONEY" joins BTS' "Butter" music video as the only K-pop video released in 2021 to rack up 600 million views on YouTube thus far.
To recall, Lisa's "MONEY" performance video reached 100 million views in 15 days, 200 million views in 38 days, 300 million views in 66 days, 400 million views in 108 days, and 500 million views in 173 days.
YG Entertainment commented, "As a solo artist, Lisa is showing how influential she is globally, similar to the popularity of BLACKPINK's choreography video for their mega-hit song 'How You Like That' (which reached 600 million views in 250 days)."

Aside from YouTube, BLACKPINK Lisa's "MONEY" also consistently garners streams on Spotify. As of 2:20 a.m. KST on June 25, the song has accumulated more than 180 million streams in 2022 alone-becoming the most-streamed songs by a female K-pop soloist and K-pop solo artist overall on the platform this year.
On June 20, "MONEY" made history as the fastest female K-pop song, K-pop debut song and K-pop solo song to hit 400 million streams on Spotify, doing so in just 184 days. It remains Lisa's most-streamed song on Spotify, following "LALISA" and her collaboration song "SG (with Ozuna, Megan Thee Stallion, and DJ Snake)."
