Woollim Entertainment has given an update on Golden Child TAG's health. The male idol has been on hiatus for a month due to his poor liver condition. Read on to find out how he's been lately.
How's Golden Child TAG? Woollim Entertainment Reveals Status of His Health
Last month, TAG was admitted to the hospital, where he was diagnosed with a poor liver condition. Kukmin Ilbo reported that he was in critical condition due to acute liver failure, but Woollim Entertainment clarified that he was not.
On May 23, the company announced that TAG will temporarily halt his activities to solely focus on his recovery. This resulted in the boy group promoting with only eight members.

On June 27, Woollim released an official statement regarding the health status of Golden Child TAG. They stated that he has gotten a lot better and will rejoin the group for their future activities, except for the team's overseas activities, such as their ongoing U.S. tour.
"TAG's health has improved greatly due to continued examinations and treatment. Due to both his doctor's opinion that he is able to promote and TAG's personal wish to resume his activities, he plans to return to promoting with Golden Child," the label said.

Woollim Entertainment continued, "Since we consider our artist's health and safety our top priority, he will not participate in the group's activities overseas that have already been scheduled. From now on, he will join Golden Child for all their other activities."
"Our agency will do our utmost to make sure that all of our artists are able to promote in good health," Woollim said. "We ask that you give lots of love and support to Golden Child TAG, who will greet you again in cheerful spirits."

Golden Child's Recent and Upcoming Activities
As mentioned above, Golden Child is currently carrying out their U.S. tour, which kicked off on June 24 in San Jose, California. To date, they have completed two shows in San Jose and Los Angeles.
Their tour will continue in Denver on June 28, and it will be followed by shows in Dallas, Minneapolis, Chicago, and Nashville. The last stop will be on July 11 in Philadelphia. In between their shows, the boy group will participate in New York City's Central Park SummerStage Concert Program on July 10. In addition, they will perform as part of the lineup for the Korea Cultural Center of NY's Korea Gayoje.

Following their U.S. tour, Golden Child will head to London to perform at the MIK festival, the first-ever outdoor K-pop music festival in Europe. Other K-pop artists who will take part in the event are Jay Park, Lee Hi, Jessi, EXO Suho, Red Velvet, VIVIZ, and more.
Before their tour in the United States, the Woollim boy group released their second Japanese single, "Rata-Tat-Tat," on May 11, marking their first Japanese comeback. Golden Child held a showcase in Tokyo for two days, from April 30 to May 1, at the Maihama Amphitheater in support of their return to the J-pop scene.
On the day of its release, "Rata-Tat-Tat" debuted at No. 3 on the Oricon Daily Singles Chart. This marks the group's second time to debut inside the top 3 of the chart, with the first time being on January 26, when their Japanese debut song "A Woo" debuted at No. 1.
