ARMYs, are you ready? In a recent broadcast appearance, BTS leader RM shares his plans to open his own art exhibit to display his personal collection of artworks to the public. Keep on reading to know more.
BTS RM is Planning to Launch Own Art Exhibit for Personal Collection
On June 28, Art Basel released the latest episode of their podcast "Intersections." In their podcast, Art Basel invited several individuals to talk about art and their passion for it.
In this episode, BTS leader and rapper RM made a guest appearance to talk about his love for art. Those who have been following RM for quite a while know that the idol is very passionate about art and is often spotted in various art galleries and museums worldwide. He also likes to share some of his personal art collection and art pieces he likes on his social media.
In the podcast, RM talked about the first art piece he had ever purchased and shared his plans for the future. In particular, RM revealed that he plans to open a small art exhibit where he can display his private collection to the public.
On why he wants to share his art pieces, RM explained that he feels that people in South Korea aren't given that many opportunities to come across different kinds of art pieces due to the lack of art galleries in the country.
RM said, "This is the first time that I am saying this, but, seriously. I am planning to make a small [exhibition] of my own private collection. And maybe, just a cafe on the first floor, and set up my collection on the second and third floors. So people could always see the collections when they just want to see them."

Meanwhile, BTS is currently on an indefinite hiatus from group activities to focus on individual promotions.
