Former MOMOLAND Member Daisy Reveals She Was 'Fired' From Group by Agency
On July 3, former MOMOLAND member Daisy took to her Tiktok account, a popular short-video sharing platform, to hold a live broadcast and interact with her fans.
While casually chatting with her fans, one had mentioned about her departure from MOMOLAND and their agency MLD Entertainment. As many MOMOLAND fans have assumed that Daisy left the group and the agency on her own will, the former idol decided to set things straight during the live broadcast.
After reading comments from fans, Daisy revealed that it wasn't her decision to leave MOMOLAND; instead, she was "fired." This means that it was MLD Entertainment who decided to kick Daisy out of both the group and the agency.
In the live broadcast, Daisy said, "Guys, for the love of God, I did not leave [MOMOLAND]. I was fired. Okay?"
Despite being kicked out, Daisy kept reassuring fans that she was alright. And since it has been a long since she departed from the group, it doesn't affect her anymore. She said, "It's been so long. Oh my God. It's great. Okay. It's all good. It is a-okay."

Daisy's Departure From MOMOLAND
Meanwhile, Daisy joined MLD Entertainment's reality show "Finding MOMOLAND" as a trainee back in 2016, from which she was eliminated. However, she later joined the group as a member in March 2017.
Daisy promoted with MOMOLAND until 2019, in which she sat out of the group's promotions beginning with their fifth mini album "Show Me" due to conflicts.
The same year, fellow MOMOLAND members Yeonwoo and Taeha left the group and agency in November. In May 2020, it was confirmed that Daisy also departed from the group.
But prior to her departure, Daisy claimed in January that "Finding MOMOLAND" was fraudulent and had deceived viewers by manipulating the votes. After being eliminated from the show, MLD Entertainment had reportedly contacted Daisy and asked her to join MOMOLAND.

MLD Entertainment soon filed a lawsuit against Daisy, in which the latter won and was able to officially leave the agency with a large number of unpaid earnings.
Following her departure, Daisy has not joined a new agency and is currently living as a non-celebrity. She has also been active on social media, such as Instagram, and often uploads new videos on her Tiktok account.
