The rumor sparked when G-Dragon posted a picture on his Instagram story on July 4 without any caption. There, the K-pop icon flaunted the interior of a car with a white leather seat and a blue seat belt buckle.

As soon as the photo circulated on SNS, fans found out that the vehicle was actually called Bugatti Chiron, a 2020-ultra-high performance supercar. It is considered one of the rarest among luxury goods as there are only 500 units of it around the world.

Its factory price alone reaches 4.4 billion KRW (around 3.4 million USD). The car is also the first custom-made car in Korea and became a hot topic as "there's only one unit of Bugatti Chiron in Korea."

Since then, the news has spread rapidly on SNS and online communities, and even an article, titled "G-Dragon has become the owner of Bugatti supercar," has been reported.

Meanwhile, BIGBANG released a new song "Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter" (Still Life) in April, but did not carry out any activities for promotion. Since then, the idol has been active in the fashion industry as the ambassador for luxury brands including Chanel.
