On July 23 KST, the Korean Business Research Institute announced the brand reputation rankings for singers for the month of July this year. From Lim Young Woong to aespa, keep reading to know the list of the most popular singers this month! Find out if your favorite artist made the rankings!

Lim Young Woong Maintains Spot as No. 1 Most Popular Singer in July 2022

Claiming the top spot for his third consecutive month as the most popular singer for July is trot singer Lim Young Woong.

For this month, the Korean Business Research Institute notes that Lim Young Woong's brand reputation index totals 8,234,949. This includes a participation index of 2,826,136, a media index of 1,856,762, a communication index of 1,801,531, and a community index of 1,750,520.

Compared to his brand reputation index of 9,927,602 back in June, his index for July saw a decrease of 17.05 percent.

PSY, aespa, BTS, and Lee Chan Won are in the Top 5 Most Popular Singers in July 2022

Rising a spot to become the second most popular singer is "That That" hitmaker, PSY!

For July, PSY amassed a brand reputation index of 6,157,452, with a participation index of 496,301, a media index of 1,381,860, a communication index of 1,997,471, and a community index of 2,281,820.

Compared to PSY's brand reputation index in June of 7,211,185, he marked a decrease of 14.61 percent for this month.

Coming in third place is SM Entertainment's four-piece girl group, aespa!

According to the Korean Business Research Institute, the "Girls" singers amassed a total brand reputation index of 5,671,538. They have a participation index of 840,842, a media index of 1,322,042, a communication index of 1,730,280, and a community index of 1,778,374.

For July, aespa's brand reputation index saw an increase of 106.80 percent, compared to their index of 2,742,583 in June.

Once again, snagging the spot for the fourth most popular singer for this month is the global superstar boy group, BTS!

This month, the Grammy-nominated boy group's brand reputation index reached 5,332,916. This includes a participation index of 1,474,173, a media index of 1,334,752, a communication index of 1,468,076, and a community index of 1,055,916.

Compared to the brand reputation index of 7,174,356 that BTS got back in June, their index this month fell by 25.67 percent.

Finally, rounding the top five and maintaining his place is trot singer Lee Chan Won!

Lee Chan Won has a brand reputation index of 4,509,809, along with a participation index of 1,255,509, a media index of 972,863, a communication index of 1,153,517, and a community index of 1,127,920.

This month, Lee Chan Won's index fell by 24.81 percent compared to his index of 5,997,687 in June.
