Last week, SEVENTEEN made another comeback, and that time, they released their fourth repackaged album "SECTOR 17" together with the music video for the title song "_WORLD." The album has since been selling thousands of copies, demonstrating its immediate popularity.

On July 25, Hanteo Chart revealed the first-week album sales for "SECTOR 17" through a press release. They said that SEVENTEEN's repackaged album had sold a total of 1,126,104 copies in its first week of release (July 18 to 24).

Notably, "SECTOR 17" sold 935,238 copies on the first day alone and earned the "million-seller" title on the third day of its release.

The first-week sales figure of the repackaged album doesn't come as a surprise, as the album already recorded more than 1.2 million stock pre-orders five days before its official release.

With this latest achievement, SEVENTEEN's "SECTOR 17" has become the first K-pop repackaged album in history to ever reach one million sales in the first week. Naturally, this makes SEVENTEEN the first K-pop artist to sell one million copies with a repackaged album.

Additionally, "SECTOR 17" becomes the boy group's seventh consecutive album to reach the one-million mark. Their six other albums that achieved the feat are "An Ode," "Heng:garæ," "Semicolon," "Your Choice," "Attacca," and "Face the Sun."

Furthermore, SEVENTEEN's "SECTOR 17" is now the K-pop album with the 12th highest first-week sales in Hanteo history. The K-pop repackaged album took the spot from aespa's "Girls," which sold 1,126,068 copies from July 8 to 14.

Meanwhile, Since its release, SEVENTEEN's "SECTOR 17" and "_WORLD" stayed strong at No. 1 on LINE Music's daily album chart and daily music chart for six consecutive days (July 19 to 24), respectively- displaying their popularity in Japan.

"_WORLD" also immediately topped the real-time charts of MelOn and Bugs as soon as it was released. It even ranked first on iTunes Song charts in 28 different regions.

On the Circle Global K-pop Chart for July 21, "_WORLD" maintained its position at No. 15 for its second consecutive day. The song's highest peak on the tally is at No. 5 on July 19.

Aside from "_WORLD," other SEVENTEEN songs also landed on the latest Global K-pop Chart. "HOT" ranked 23rd, while "CHEERS" sits at No. 35, "Darl+ing" at No. 45, "Circles" at No. 89, "Fallin' Flower (Korean version)" at No. 138, "Rock with you" at No. 147, and "DON QUIXOTE" at No. 150.

Meanwhile, "SECTOR 17" entered at No. 1 on the Circle Retail Album Chart with a total of 782,989 copies sold since it came out. It was the only album to surpass 100,000 copies during the tracking period (July 17 to 23). The album on the second spot is STAYC's "WE NEED LOVE" with 74,371 copies sold.

Finally, on the latest Circle Social Chart for the week of July 10 to 16, SEVENTEEN remains at No. 14. They are the only fourth K-pop boy group inside the top 15, following BTS, NCT Dream, and TREASURE.
