Jennie Kim, commonly known as just Jennie, rose to global prominence after making her debut as a member of the top-performing girl group BLACKPINK in August 2016 under YG Entertainment. Since her debut, she has been promoting as the group's main rapper and lead vocalist. And like most K-pop idols, Jennie is expected to maintain a certain weight during her promotions.

With that, how does Jennie stay in shape? Here is what we know about the Chanel brand ambassador's diet and workout routine!

When Jennie first came into the limelight, she was already relatively slim, which made her weight not an issue in the industry. But over the years, she lost a bit more weight and got rid of her baby fat, which made her chubby cheeks smaller and her face more defined.

Since then, Jennie has maintained her weight without drastic changes. She now maintains a weight range between 45kg to 49kg while standing at 163cm (5'4") tall.

When it comes to the "How You Like That" hitmaker's workout routine, a given among K-pop idols is having dancing as their main form of workout. Dancing is not only fun but also a good form of cardio to help but calories and fat.

While the amount of time an idol dedicates to dance practices alone, a standard in the industry would be at least two hours per session. Idols usually have dance practices whether or not they are preparing for a comeback or performance. In addition, they usually have dance practices almost every day of the week.

But besides dance practices, Jennie's other main form of workout is pilates, as seen on her social media posts. Pilates is a staple workout for female idols, as it targets your entire body and helps strengthen and tone your muscles.

In addition, Jennie also likes to do aerial yoga from time to time. Aerial yoga is a type of yoga that is performed on a suspended silk hammock or sling hanging from the ceiling. This workout is also good for strengthening and toning your muscles and building flexibility. However, Jennie focuses on pilates these days.

As for Jennie's diet plan, the idol freely eats in moderation whatever she wants when she isn't on a strict diet. But when she is, Jennie likes to avoid salty food to prevent bloating.

Her diet plan includes porridge, avocado salad, and detox juice. She also likes to eat three healthy meals a day and, as much as possible, avoids eating snacks to have a bigger meal.
