NewJeans - 'Attention,' 'Hype Boy'

HYBE x ADOR's Min Hee Jin's new girl group has already cemented its presence in the music scene with two title track music videos!

The MVs for "Attention" and "Hype Boy" were released on July 23 and 25, respectively.

PURPLE KISS - 'Nerdy'

PURPLE KISS, the sister group of MAMAMOO, returned to the music industry with a new mini album, "Geekyland."

On the same day, they dropped its new song, "Nerdy," which depicts the message of living and loving oneself without minding what other says.

YOUNITE - 'Aviator'

YOUNITE also came back on July 25 with a new EP, "YOUNI-Q" and unveiled MV for the title track, "Aviator."

The song is a hip-hop genre track and delivers the lyrics of a desire to fly high.

MAMAMOO Hwasa & Loco - 'Somebody'

After four years since their first collaboration in 2018 through the hit track, "Don't," Hwasa and Loco returned with a new song in 2022 titled "Somebody."

Aside from the reunion of the artists, the song became more special as they also wrote this along with Park Woo Sang.

Red Velvet Irene to Launch Solo Variety Show

On July 25, OTT seezn announced that an original solo reality show starring Red Velvet Irene would be released on August 4.

"Irene's Work & Holiday" draws attention as aside from this being the idol's first solo reality program since her debut, she will also appear alone following her attitude controversy in 2020.

The concept draws more attention by showcasing Irene (Bae Joo Hyun's work and holiday life along with her close friends and staff.

Idol Star Championship (ISAC), which has not been shown for two years since the 2020 Lunar New Year special due to the coronavirus pandemic, will finally return this year.

On July 25, the tentative lineup, venue, sports categories, and filming dates were unveiled, while the MCs and commentators were earlier revealed on July 19.

BLACKPINK Confirms Filming for Comeback MV

On July 26, YG Entertainment announced that BLACKPINK had started filming the music video for their much-awaited comeback.

The company also boosted fans' expectations by saying:

"The highest production cost ever has been invested. As it is well prepared under a thorough plan, the whole process is going smoothly."

Starting with a comeback slated this August, BLACKPINK also plans to embark on the largest-ever world tour with a series of new song projects.

Earlier, YG particularly highlighted:

"There are several powerful sounds like BLACKPINK that have been completed with all their heart and soul for a long time. Large projects that fit the status will continue steadily."
