In 2012, Cher Kong left her hometown and flew to Korea to become an idol-trainee under JYP Entertainment. After entering the company, she aspired to debut in a new girl group. She trained alongside GOT7 and TWICE members, and became close friends with Momo and Tzuyu.

She almost joined TWICE through "SIXTEEN." However, she left the agency even before the show's filming.

Nevertheless, Cher, who drew explosive reactions for her stunning visuals and incredible dance skills, convinced fans that she would probably become the main dancer if she debuts as a K-pop idol.

After leaving JYP Entertainment in 2015, Cher found her new nest under Yuehua and planned to debut with WJSN. Sadly, she also missed the opportunity.

When Cher failed to establish a career in Korea, she returned to China and started to join multiple survival shows to debut as an idol.

In 2016, she joined a survival show in Mainland China, "Ladybees," and successfully entered the final lineup. In the same year, she debuted as Lady Bees. The group enjoyed decent popularity, but in 2019, Kong Xueer (Cher) left the group. The team also eventually disbanded.

In 2020, Cher, who introduced herself as Snow Kong, a trainee under Mountain Top Entertainment, joined her second survival show, IQiYi's "Youth With You 2," in which BLACKPINK Lisa participated as a mentor.

During the show, Lisa repeatedly pointed out Snow's lack of confidence despite her dance prowess. But she used this as a motivation to work harder and successfully joined the Top 9 lineup of the debuting group after ranking No. 8.

In May, Snow debuted as the vocalist and dancer of the group and enjoyed fame until the project girl group parted ways in 2021.
