On August 3, C-Jes Entertainment announced that singer Kim Jaejoong would be making a full album comeback in September. They also announced that the former TVXQ member will hold his Asian tour in the same month!
After the release of "Love Song (Ae-Yo)" in 2020, Jaejoong's upcoming third complete album will be the singer's first solo comeback in Korea in more than three years.
Jaejoong, in the meantime, has welcomed his Korean fans with a variety of OST releases, including "In This World" for the webcomic "Plainwalker of the Stigma," and "Things to Love" for the drama "Private Lives," and others.
Jaejoong intends to start his 2022 Asian tour following the September release of his third complete album. The celebrity will currently start his trip in Seoul before moving on to Malaysia, Thailand, etc.
Jaejoong's First Full Length Album After 6 Years
Jaejoong's first ever Korean full-length album, "WWW" was released in 2013, and his second one "no. X" was released after three years, in 2016, marking a six-year gap from this upcoming one.
With his first two albums, Jaejoong showed a different side of him to Korean and international audiences. The solo artist hopes to show another side of him with his 3rd full-length album.
According to C-Jes Entertainment, the album will include a variety of songs, some of which are written by the solo singer himself.
There will be different genres of music and some are genres that Jaejoong will try for the first time.
Jaejoong's Hiatus During COVID
During the height of the pandemic, singer, actor, and composer Jaejoong pranked his fans on April Fool's day stating he had caught the deadly virus.
The joke was not taken lightly by many as the serious disease has become a pandemic and has killed millions of people all around the world. Many thought that it was insensitive of him to post that.
Later, he removed the "prank" post on his account and posted that he does not take COVID lightly. In fact, he did that to remind his fans of how serious the virus is so they should take care of themselves.
After that, the Korean CDC told people that any pranks of that kind will not be taken lightly and will have a corresponding punishment in the future.
Jaejoong As Judge
CJes Entertainment's audition survival program "M.I.C." is currently airing and they are posting their videos on their official YouTube channel. Some fans have caught a glimpse of what seems like the solo singer himself, Kim Jaejoong.
It looks like his company has made him a judge and mentor for the vocal team for their monthly evaluation. Together with former EXID member Solji and solo singer Gummy, Jaejoong will be appearing on the show.
Fans are really happy that Jaejoong is appearing on many shows and is doing OSTs here and there. They are hoping that he will visit more countries during his Asian tour since only three countries were confirmed.
