BLACKPINK Jennie Makes Unexpected Cameo in 'Extraordinary Attorney Woo'
On August 10, "Extraordinary Attorney Woo" Episode 13 aired. There, BLACKPINK member Jennie made a cameo appearance.
However, her face was not shown. Instead, the female idol's name was mentioned during a conversation between Kwon Min Woo (Joo Jong Hyuk) and Choi Su Yeon (Ha Yoon Kyung).
In one scene, Kwon Min Woo asked Choi Soo Yeon about her baptismal name. Choi Soo Yeon responded that her baptismal name is Jennie.

To this, Kwon Min Woo immediately teased Choi Soo Yeon, asking, "Are you the saint of BLACKPINK?"
This must be a thrill for the BLACKPINK members!
During a live stream, Lisa and Jisoo did their own version of the viral "Woo to the Young to the Woo" catchphrase. However, the two idols used their names instead of using the characters' names.

BLACKPINK To Pre-Release 'PINK VENOM'
BLACKPINK is set to drop the pre-release single, "PINK VENOM," on August 19. On August 10, individual member teasers were shared on BLACKPINK's official social media accounts.

The girl group will embark on a world tour in October 2022.
BLACKPINK will release their second full-length album, "BORN PINK," on September 16.
On August 11, it was announced that "BORN PINK" surpassed 103,617 pre-orders on Ktown4u after 11 hours of being available. It became the most pre-ordered album by a female artist on the online store.

From July 22 to 30, BLACKPINK held a virtual in-game concert in PUBG Mobile. The virtual versions of the members performed BLACKPINK's hit songs, as well as the special track, "Ready for Love."
